한국 거주 일부 외국인의 구강건강실태 조사 연구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 일부 외국인 환자의 구강건강 및 치과치료 현황을 분석하고 외국인의 구강건강증진안 개발에 필요한 기초 데이터를 제공하고자 한다. 연구자료는 2019년 12월부터 2023년 4월까지 서울 C치과를 방문한 외국인 환자 305명의 치과 차트에서 수집 및 분석되었다. 우식경험영구치, 치조골, 기능 치아, 치과치료 필요 및 수요를 IBM SPSS 28.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석했다. 연구결과 우식치아는 상악, 하악의 2대구치에서 높게 나타났고 충전치아는 상악 중절치, 상악 우측 2대구치, 하악 1대구치에서 높게 나타났으며 상실치아는 상악과 하악 1대구치가 가장 높게 나타났다. 충전치료가 필요한 우식치는 3.83개, 신경치료가 우식치는 4.60개, 상실 치아는 1.27개, 치료치아는 1.18개로 나타났다. 하악 구치부에서 치조골 흡수율이 높았고, 기능치아는 25.7개로 나타났다. 환자의 국적에 따라 치주 치료와 임플란트 치료의 필요성은 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 또한 보험가입 유무에 따른 치주치료와 발치율에 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 결과적으로 저작기능이 높은 구치부는 우식 발생률이 높았고, 국가별, 보험 가입별로 치료 요구도에 차이가 있었다. 구강건강을 개선하기 위해서는 정기검진을 통해 질병을 조기에 발견하고 치료하는 것이 요구되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the oral health and dental treatment status of some foreign patients and provide basic data necessary for promoting oral health. The study subjects were 305 foreign patients who visited C Dental Clinic in Seoul from December 2019 to April 2023. The caries-experienced permanent teeth, alveolar bone, functional teeth, and dental treatment needs and demands were analyzed using the IBM SPSS 28.0 program.The results of the study showed that carious teeth were high in the upper and lower molars. Filled teeth were high in the upper central incisors, upper right second molars, and lower first molars. Missing teeth were highest in the upper and lower first molars. There were 3.83 carious teeth requiring filling treatment, 4.60 carious teeth requiring root canal treatment, 1.27 missing teeth, and 1.18 treated teeth. The alveolar bone absorption rate was high in the lower molars, and 25.7 functional teeth were found. There were significant differences in the need for periodontal treatment and implant treatment by nationality, and in the periodontal treatment and extraction rates depending on insurance coverage. As a result, molars with high chewing function have a high incidence of caries, so it is necessary to detect and treat diseases early through regular checkups to improve oral health.
