국문 초록

본 연구는 지역사회 상황 스크립트를 이용한 AAC 중재가 비구어 지적장애 학생의 의사소통 행동에 미치 효과를 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 연구 목적을 위해 비구어 지적장애 학생을 대상으로 지역사회 상황 중 세 가지 상황(마트, 은행, 식당)을 선정하여 상황간 중다간헐기초선 연구설계 방법을 적용하여, 의사소통 행동 습득, 일반화, 유지 효과를 관찰하였다. 지적장애 학생의 의사소통 훈련을 위해 시간· 인과적으로 구조화된 지역사회 상황 스크립트를 이용하여 의사소통 기능을 중재 한 후 학교 내 모의 체험실에서 의사소통 기능을 측정하였으며 지역사회 환경에서 일반화를 보기 위하여 매주 1회 지역사회의 세 가지 상황에서 측정하였고, 유지는 5주 후에 측정하였다. 본 연구 결과, 세 가지 상황에서 의사소통 행동이 서서히 증가하였으며 중재 후반의 향상된 결과가 5주 후에도 안정된 유지효과를 나타내었다. 일반화에서도 중재와 유사한 수준으로 증가하며 일반화 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 자발적 의사표현이 없는 비구어 지적장애 학생이 친숙한 교실이나 가정이 아닌 지역사회에서 예측 가능한 활동을 제공하는 상황 스크립트를 이용한 AAC 중재가 의사소통 행동에 효과적인 영향을 준 것으로 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study was determine the effect of AAC intervention using script activities on communication function of student with nonverbal intellectual disability. This study provided student with non verbal and intellectual disabilities with three different situations of a local community and examined the effects on communication functions, generalization, and maintenance using a method of multiple probe designs among multiple baseline across conditions. For communication training for student with nonverbal intellectual disability, their communication functions were measured at the simulation room of a school after intervention using script activities which were structured in a timely and causal manner. For determining generalization and maintenance at a local community, their communication functions were measured once per one week and after five weeks, respectively, at three different situations. As a result, their communication functions steadily increased at three situations and the functional enhancement at the latter part of intervention was maintained even after six weeks. The result of generalization was also similar to that of intervention. This study indicates that AAC intervention was effective on the acquirement of communication function using situation scripts, which provide predictable activities at a local community instead of a classroom or home familiar with student both with nonverbal and intellectual disability and without voluntary expression of their will.
