장애청소년의 종합적 전환계획요구 평가도구 개발을 위한 내용타당도 검증

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 기존 전환요구평가의 문항에 대한 내용타당도 분석을 실시하여 장애청소년의 전환계획을 위한 전환평가도구 개발에 적용하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존 전환요구평가도구 4가지 (Transition Behavior Scale-2, Enderle-Severson Transition Rating Scale-Revised, LCCE Performance and Knowledge Battery, 그리고 Transition Planning Inventory-2-Revision)를 분석하고 이 도구들로부터 총 63개의 문항을 추출하여 내용타당도 검증과 문항제시/표현 방식 및 문항의 내용에 대한 전문가 의견 수렴을 통해 문항의 타당도가 낮게 나타난 10개의 문항을 삭제하고 3개의 문항을 새롭게 추가하였다. 새롭게 구성된 평가문항에 대한 내용타당도 검증 결과, 타 문항과의 중복성을 이유로 두 개의 문항이 삭제되었으며, 나머지 문항의 경우 .80이상의 높은 타당도를 보여 해당 문항들이 장애청소년의 전환요구를 진단하기에 타당한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 향후 전환요구평가도구의 표준화 과정의 전 단계로서 검사문항들의 내용에 대한 타당성을 확보했다고 볼 수 있으며, 본 연구의 의의라 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과에 근거하여 향후 연구 및 실제에 대한 논의가 이루어졌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the content validity of items from widely used transition needs assessments, including Transition Behavior Scale-2, Enderle-Severson Transition Rating Scale-Revised, LCCE Performance and Knowledge Battery, and Transition Planning Inventory-2-Revision, and to propose test items of transition needs assessments for transition planning of youth with disabilities, based on the evaluation. We reviewed all items from four assessments and total 63 items were chosen first and content validity index (CVI) was calculated based on CVI of the items judged by seven professionals in special education and transition. Based on the results of the content validity test, transition needs assessments, comprised of total 56 items, were developed and its CVIs were above .60 averagely, and thus the items were thought to be suitable to identify transition needs of the students. A significance of this study was to provide content validity of test items as preliminary data in standardizing an transition needs assessment. Implications for future research and practice were discussed.
