특수교육보조원의 초기 경험

국문 초록

이 연구는 특수교육보조원들이 특수학교에 적응하기까지의 경험을 설명해 줄 수 있는 실체이론을 구축하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 상징적상호주의 인식론 관점에 기반을 둔 근거이론을 적용하여 특수교육보조원의 경험에서 나타난 개념의 범주는 무엇인가? 특수교육보조원이 겪은 경험의 중심현상은 무엇인가? 그리고 이를 야기한 것은 무엇인가? 이것을 극복하기 위한 전략은 무엇인가? 이것에 영향을 미치는 맥락적, 중재적 조건들은 무엇인가? 이러한 결과는 무엇인가를 알아보는 것이다. 특수교육보조원과의 심층면담을 통해 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과 나타난 특수교육보조원 경험의 개념은 모두 136개이며, 35개의 하위범주로 분류되었고, 20개의 범주로 통합되었다. 또한, 특수학교에서 특수교육보조원이 경험하는 갈등이라는 핵심범주를 발견할 수 있었으며 이러한 핵심범주의 중심현상이 ‘소극적 의사소통’, ‘수동적 행동’, ‘표면적 관계의 형성’이라는 것을 발견할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore what experiences Special education assistants have from the position of Special education assistants applying Grounded theory. Specifically, what is category of concept appeared in the experiences of Special education assistants who work in Special school for physical disability?; What is central phenomenon of experiences which Special education assistants had?; And what is the cause for the phenomenon?; What is the strategy to overcome this phenomenon?; What is contextual and interventional condition which affects the strategy?; And to explore what this results mean. As the results of analyzing collected data through in-depth interview with Special education assistants, concepts of Special education assistants' experiences are all 136 in number, the concepts were classified to 35 sub-categories, and integrated to 20 categories. Also, as the core category, conflict experienced by Special education assistants working in Special school for physical disability could be found. It was also known that central phenomenon of such a core category are 'passive communication', passive behavior', 'formation of superficial relationship'.
