장년 필자의 쓰기 신념을 고려한 대화 첨삭 피드백 방안

국문 초록

이 연구는 장년 필자를 대상으로 인터넷 글쓰기 카페와 단체 대화방이라는 가상의 교수·학습 환경을 구축하고 쓰기 신념을 고려한 쓰기 방안을 모색하였다. 생애주기별 쓰기 신념 분석 결과 나이가 들수록 내용 전달을 중시하는 전달적 신념은 감소하고 소통 과정에 참여하고자 하는 교류적 신념은 증가했다. 특히, 장년 필자들은 퇴직을 전후로 사회적 활동과 대인 관계의 단절을 경험하며 소통 과정의 참여와 연결을 원하였다. 가상의 쓰기 공간은 장년 필자의 쓰기 접근성, 유연성, 상호작용성 등을 갖춘 소통 공간이자 교수·학습 환경의 대안적 모델로 작용할 수 있다. 또한, 텍스트 결과물보다 학습자의 의미 흐름에 초점을 맞춘 대화 첨삭 피드백은 학습자와 교수자의 상호작용을 촉진하며 필자의 정서적, 심리적 요인에 긍정적 변화를 유도하고 쓰기 활동의 적극성과 자발성을 높일 수 있다. 인터넷 글쓰기 가상 공간의 자전적 텍스트 쓰기 활동은 세 권의 책과 신문 기고 등 장년 필자들에게 자기 발견과 사회적 참여의 계기를 마련할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study explored writing strategies tailored for older adults participating in online writing cafes and group chat rooms, constructed as virtual teaching and learning environments. The research sought to understand writing beliefs, especially those centered on communication. Analysis of writing beliefs across the life cycle revealed a decrease in transmissive beliefs, which emphasize mere content delivery, and an increase in dialogic beliefs, which prioritize participation in communication, as individuals aged. Notably, older adults, particularly around retirement, experienced disconnections in social activities and interpersonal relationships, leading to a strong desire for participation and connection in communication processes. These virtual writing spaces, characterized by accessibility, flexibility, and interactivity, proved to be an effective alternative model for teaching and learning environments. Furthermore, dialogic feedback, which focused on the learner’s meaning-making process rather than just the final text product, fostered interaction between learners and instructors. This approach induced positive changes in the cognitive, emotional, and psychological factors of the writers, thereby enhancing their active and voluntary participation in writing activities. Autobiographical writing in these virtual online spaces ultimately provided significant opportunities for self-discovery and social participation for older adults, even leading to published books and newspaper contributions.
