비자발적 실업자의 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국의 노동시장 유연화와 국제사회의 사회·경제적 환경 변화에 따라 양산되고 있는 비자발적 실업자를 대상으로 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대하여 살펴보고, 우울을 예방하고 대처하기 위한 방안을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널 19차(2024년) 조사자료를 활용하여 다항로지스틱회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 비자발적 실업자 중 여자가 남자보다, 자아존중감이 낮을수록, 사회적친분관계만족도가 낮을수록 우울의심이나 우울진단 집단에 속할 가능성이 높고, 가족관계만족도가 낮을수록 우울진단 집단에 속할 가능성을 높았다. 이를 바탕으로 비자발적 실업자의 우울을 예방하기 위해서는 구직이나 재취업 등 지원뿐만 아니라 필요시 심리검사와 심리지원서비스를 제공하는 방안도 고려할 필요가 있다는 것 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine factors that influence the depression of involuntarily unemployed people who come out in large numbers due to the labor market flexibility of South Korea and the changes to the social and economic environments of the international community, proposing plans to prevent and deal with depression. For these purposes, the study conducted a multinomial logistic regression analysis with the data of the 19th(2024) Korea Welfare Panel Study. The analysis results show that involuntarily unemployed people were more likely to belong to the group of individuals suspicious of depression or that of individuals diagnosed with depression when they were women rather than men and had lower self-esteem and social network satisfaction. When they had lower family relationship satisfaction, they were more likely to belong to the group of individuals diagnosed with depression. Based on these findings, the study proposes a need to consider plans for psychological tests and psychological support services when necessary in addition to support for job hunting and reemployment to prevent the depression of involuntarily unemployed people.
