지역 정주·취업에 대한 광주 A대학 베트남인 유학생의 인식 조사 연구 : 인문계열 전공을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 지역 정주 및 취업에 대한 베트남인 유학생의 인식을 살펴보는 것에 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 광주광역시 A대학 인문계열 베트남인 유학생 95명을 대상으로 지역 취업·정주에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 조사 결과, 베트남인 유학생들은 지역 취업 정보 부족, 접근성의 어려움, 취업에 필요한 역량 및 비자 제도에 대해 한계를 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 정주 인식 역시 외국인 대상 프로그램 부족 등에 부정적 인식을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 취업·정주에 대한 지자체의 홍보 방안, 지자체 협력 기반 지역민 공동체 프로그램 개발, 취업역량강화를 위한 대학의 노력 등의 방안을 제안하였다. 결론적으로 광주 A대학 베트남인 유학생의 지역 취업·정주에 대한 인식을 개선하기 위해서는 단순히 유학생의 노력만으로 해결될 수 있는 문제가 아닌, 지자체·대학·산업체가 공동으로 협력하여 정보 제공, 제도 개선, 교육 강화 등 종합적이고 지속 가능한 정책 생태계를 구축해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study investigates the perceptions of Vietnamese international students regarding regional settlement and employment. A survey was conducted with 95 Vietnamese humanities majors at University A in Gwangju. The findings indicate that students face challenges such as limited access to employment information, difficulties in accessibility, insufficient job-related competencies, and visa restrictions. Their perceptions of regional settlement were also negative, largely due to the lack of programs for international students. To address these issues, this study suggests strengthening local government promotion strategies, developing community programs in cooperation with local residents, and enhancing universities’ efforts to build students’ employment competencies. Ultimately, improving Vietnamese students’ perceptions of regional settlement and employment requires not only individual efforts but also a comprehensive and sustainable policy ecosystem jointly supported by local governments, universities, and industries.
