ADHD 성향 아동에 대한 부모와 초등학교 교사의 인식 비교연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 부모와 교사의 ADHD에 대한 인식의 차이를 알아보고, 부모 및 교사교육 프로그램에 대한 요구를 수렴하여, ADHD 성향 아동을 위한 부모 및 교사교육 프로그램 개발과 운영을 위한 기초자료 마련을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상은 대구 소재 초등학교 2학년과 5학년 아동의 부모 625명으로 ‘ADHD 성향 아동에 대한 부모인식 조사 설문지’를 실시하였고, 구미, 대구, 서울 소재 초등학교 교사 85명을 대상으로 ‘ADHD 성향 아동에 대한 교사인식 설문지’를 실시하였다. 회수된 설문지는 빈도분석, 평균, 백분위, t-test를 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, ADHD 성향 아동의 부모는 학업과 관련된 문제, 부주의하고 산만한 행동, 그리고 심리․정서적 문제에 대하여 걱정하였고, 교사는 부주의하고 산만한 행동, 공격성․ 폭력, 친구관계 문제에 대하여 걱정하였다. 아동의 부적절한 행동에 대한 반응에서 부모는 지인의 조언 듣기, 전문서적 참고하기, TV나 인터넷 등 대중매체 사용하기를 선호하였고, 교사의 경우 학생의 부모에게 도움 청하기, 지인의 조언 듣기, 학생에게 주의 주기를 선호하였다. 둘째, 부모와 교사 모두 ADHD 증상에 대한 지식이 가장 높고, 중재에 대한 지식이 가장 낮았다. 셋째, 교육 프로그램의 내용으로 부모는 대화기법, 자녀의 부적절한 행동 다루기, 부모의 스트레스 관리를 원하였고, 교사는 아동의 부적절한 행동 다루기, 원만한 또래관계 형성하기, 정서문제 다루기를 원하였다. 교육의 진행방식으로 부모교육은 강의와 토의를 겸한 정기적인 소모임을, 교사교육은 직접적인 교사역할 훈련을 선호하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to comparate parent's perception with elementary school teacher's perception of ADHD tendency child, and to prepare preliminary data for parents and teacher education program development and conduction. 625 parents of second grade and fifth grade elementary school students from Deagu were answered the investigation question for parent's perception of ADHD tendency child. And 85 teachers of elementary school from Daegu, Gumi and Seoul, were answered the investigation question for teacher's perception of ADHD tendency child. Collected questionnairs performed frequency analysis, percentile, and t-test. Results showed that (1) Parents were worried by child's a related schoolwork problem, and teachers were worried by child's a inattentive behavior. Parents listen to advice of friends and seniors and teachers turn to child's parents, because of deal with child's inattentive behaviors. Teachers considered that the problem of inattentive behavior was related to the home environment. So teachers thought that inattentive child's parents have need of a parents education program. (2) Appearance rate of ADHD tendency child were 20.2% according to parents, and 5.7% according to teachers. Inattentive child's proportion of males to females was nearly 1:1 according to parents, and 6.7:1 according to teachers. Teacher's Knowledge of Attention Deficit Disorder Scale score is higher than parents score. (3) Parents need to parent-child conversation techniques in parents education program. And teachers need to behavior modification techniques in teachers education program. Specially parents demand skills deal with parent's stress. Parents and teachers wanted to Education program conduct methods that were lecture and discussion for parents, and role training for teachers.
