반편견 통합교육 프로그램이 일반유아와 장애유아의 사회‧정서적 발달에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 2007 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 반편견 교육활동의 일환으로 장애유아 통합교육 프로그램을 실시하고, 그 프로그램이 일반유아와 장애유아의 사회‧정서적 발달에 미친 효과를 알아보았다. 이를 위하여 만 4세의 일반유아 40명과 장애유아 5명을 대상으로 실험집단과 비교집단으로 나누었다. 실험집단에게는 반편견 통합교육 프로그램을 6개월간 실시하였으며, 비교집단에게는 2007 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 사회생활 영역의 하위 내용의 수업을 실험집단과 같은 기간 동안 진행하였다. 이 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해 일반유아에게는 교육과학기술부와 제주특별자치도교육청이 2008년에 개발한 사회‧정서 발달 영역의 평가도구를 사용하였고, 장애유아는 관찰 및 일화기록을 통하여 그 변화를 살펴보았다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 반편견 통합교육 프로그램은 일반유아의 사회적 발달 영역의 또래관계 형성하기, 사회적 문제 해결하기, 도덕적 행동하기, 사회적 놀이하기, 자기정체성 형성하기, 성인과 상호작용하기, 환경에 대한 태도 보이기에서 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 반편견 통합교육 프로그램은 일반유아의 정서적 발달 영역의 정서 조절과 정서 인식 능력에서 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 반편견 통합교육 프로그램은 장애유아의 사회성 발달 측면에서 긍정적 변화를 보인 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 반편견 통합교육 프로그램은 일반유아 및 장애유아의 사회‧정서적 발달을 향상시킨다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to study the effect of the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program on children‘s social and emotional development. The object was set for 45 children of age 4. The subjects are Firstly, the effect of the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program though The 2007 Revision Curriculum on the social development of children, secondly the effect of that program on the emotional development of children. The research on the subjects were carried out by comparing a group taught with the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program for 6 month, with the group of children who wasn't taught by the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program. Both of the group consisted of 20 children. The former group was taught with Children in the special school, throughout 6 months of research. The assessment tools used to examine the children were supported by The Office of Education in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. There was some developments on minor factors of social development, which were forming age groups, solving the social problems, acting morally, playing a role in his society, having self-esteem, having some idea on the environmental aspect and interacting with elders. Also there was improvement for the emotional development, such as, controling emotion, and understanding emotions. As a result the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program has a positive effect on the children's social, and emotional development.
