장애유아의 교육적 통합에 대한 일반유치원 교사의 인식 및 실행에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 일반유치원에서 통합학급을 담당하고 있는 일반유치원 교사들을 대상으로 교육적 통합에 대한 인식과 실행정도를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구의 목적을 위하여 통합학급을 운영한 경험이 있는 일반유치원 교사 6명을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였고, 질적 분석을 통해 연구문제와 관련된 2개의 주제와 6개의 범주가 도출되었다. 면담자료 분석 결과, 참여자들은 통합교육 정의에 대해 물리적 통합교육을 가장 많이 언급하고 있었고, 교육적 통합의 중요성을 알고 있으나 실행정도는 물리적 통합수준인 것으로 나타났다. 교육적 통합에 대한 참여자들의 인식에 대해 개별화교육의 실행이 교육적 통합을 실행하는 방법인 것으로 알고 있었으나, 교육적 통합을 위한 구체적인 방법적 접근과 내용들에 대해서는 정확히 인식하고 있지 못 한 것으로 나타났다. 향후 질적으로 향상된 교육적 통합 실행을 위한 역할로는 일반교사와 특수교사간의 협력과 더불어 교사의 자질을 언급했으며, 이를 위해서는 교육기관과 기관장의 지원, 국가적 지원의 확대, 교육적 통합에 대한 다양한 교사 연수와 대학교 교육과정의 개설 등의 노력이 필요하다고 지적하였다.

영문 초록

This study is to know the perception and execution on inclusive education and educational inclusion of general kindergarten teachers who were in charge of inclusive classes in general kindergartens. In-depth interviews for six teachers of general kindergarten who have been in charge of inclusive classes were done for the purpose of this study, and two subjects and 6 sub-categories related to this study were drawn up through a qualitative analysis. Through the analysis of interviewed materials, it was found that the participants mentioned the physical inclusive education most for the definition of inclusive education, and they acknowledged the importance of social and educational inclusion, but they just execute their education within the context of physical inclusive education. As for the recognition of the participants for educational inclusion, they acknowledged that individualized education is a good way for the execution of educational inclusion, but they still didn't know about the specific methodology and contents for educational inclusion exactly. For the role of qualitative execution for educational inclusion, it was suggested that cooperation between general education teachers and special education teachers including their quality is important, and they were in mutual agreement that the support of educational institution and government, the introduction of various educational programs for teachers, and curriculum developments at university level are needed for educational inclusion.
