해결중심 단기상담이 정서‧행동장애 학생의 정서문제, 수업중 부적절한 행동, 공격행동 및 긍정적 상호작용에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

통합교육 환경에서 정서‧행동장애 학생의 정서, 행동, 사회적 영역에서의 건강한 성장과 발달을 위한 학교상담 제공의 중요성이 강조되고 있는 가운데, 본 연구는 초등학교 통합교육 환경에서 정서‧행동장애 학생의 정서, 행동, 사회적 문제를 해결하고자 해결중심 단기상담을 계획하여 제공하였다. 상담은 총 15주 동안 15회기에 걸쳐 제공되었고, 기초선-중재-유지의 연구절차를 적용하여 상담의 효과성과 효과의 유지 정도를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약해 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생의 우울/불안, 공격성, 위축, 정서적 불안 등의 정서적인 문제는 상담이 제공된 후 크게 감소되었다. 둘째, 학생의 수업 중 부적절한 행동문제와 공격적인 행동문제의 횟수는 상담이 제공되면서 점차 감소되었고, 감소된 부적절한 행동문제와 공격적인 행동문제 횟수는 상담이 종결된 지 5주 후인 유지기간 동안에도 그대로 유지되어 다시 증가되지 않았다. 셋째, 학생의 또래와의 긍정적인 사회적 상호작용은 상담이 제공되면서 점차 증가하였지만, 증가된 또래와의 긍정적인 상호작용 횟수는 상담이 종결된 지 5주 후인 유지기간 동안에 그대로 유지되지 못하고, 조금 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 장애학생을 위한 상담이 통합학교 내에서의 실제적으로 활성화되고, 효과적으로 진행될 수 있는 다양한 방법과 추후 상담연구를 위한 제언 등이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

The importance of provision of counseling for students with emotional and behavioral disorders in inclusive settings has been emphasized in the field of special education. In this vein, this study planed and provided the solution-focused brief counseling for the elementary school student with emotional and behavioral disorders who was having difficulties with adjusting to inclusive education settings due to his emotional problems, off-task and disruptive behaviors, and lack of positive social interactions with his peers. A total of 15 counseling sessions were provided for 15 weeks and the single subject design with baseline-intervention-maintenance sessions was used to validate the effectiveness of the counseling. The results of this study were summarized as follows: First, the student' emotional problems such as depression/anxiety, disruptiveness, and withdrawal were decreased. Second, the number of the student' off-task and disruptive behavior problems was gradually decreased and maintained during the maintenance phase. Third, the number of positive social interactions with his peers was gradually increased but was not maintained during the maintenance phase. Various methods to effectively provide counseling for students with disabilities in inclusive settings and research directions for future counseling studies for students with disabilities were discussed.
