국문 초록

본 연구는 상호주관적 관계 형성에 있어 시기심이 어떤 방식으로 작동하며, 이를 수용하고 변화시키는 데 있어 '좋은 대상 경험'이 어떠한 역할을 수행하는지를 살펴보았다. 시기심은 단순한 부정적 정서가 아닌 초기 관계 경험의 내면화와 자기 결핍에서 비롯된 복합적 감정으로 재해석되었다. 연구방법으로는 해석학적 접근과 도구적 사례연구를 적용하였으며, 연구자 자신의 사례와 드라마 <악귀>의 상징적 서사를 분석 대상으로 삼아 연구하였다. 연구 결과, 시기심은 억압하거나 부정하는 것이 아니라, 그것을 수용하고 통합할 수 있을 때 자아의 성숙과 상호주관적 관계 형성이 가능함을 확인하였다. 특히 정서적 울타리로 기능하는 '좋은 대상 경험'은 시기심을 조절하고, 자폐적 고립상태에서 벗어나 통합된 자아로 나아가는 데 핵심적인 요소로 작용하였다. 본 연구는 시기심을 병리적으로만 간주하지 않고, 관계적 성숙의 심리적 자원으로 재조명하며, 상호주관적 관계 회복을 위한 '좋은 어른'의 상징적 역할과 그 내면화의 중요성을 강조하였다. 이를 통해 우리의 반복되는 관계 실패의 패턴을 이해하고, 정서적 자기 인식과 상호주관적 관계 형성의 가능성을 모색하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined how envy operates in the formation of intersubjective relationships and what role “good object experience” plays in accepting and changing it. The study employed an interpretive approach and instrumental case study methodology, analyzing the researcher's own case and the symbolic narrative of the drama as research subjects. The results confirmed that envy can be accepted and integrated, enabling self-maturity and the formation of intersubjective relationships. In particular, “good object experience,” which functions as an emotional barrier, played a key role in regulating envy and moving away from autistic isolation toward an integrated self. This study reexamined envy not merely as a pathological condition but as a psychological resource for relational maturity, emphasizing the symbolic role of the “good adult” in restoring intersubjective relationships and the importance of internalizing this role. Through this, the study sought to understand the patterns of our recurring relational failures and explore the possibilities of emotional self-awareness and the formation of intersubjective relationships.
