국문 초록

본 연구는 청년세대의 사회적 고립, 자기관리의 약화와 부재가 사회 문제로 부각되는 것에 주목하였다. 이에 「서울시 고립·은둔 청년 실태조사」를 기반으로 20~30대 청년세대의 정서적·물리적 고립이 일상적 자기관리에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 아울러 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 사회적 고립과 자기관리 등에 나타나는 집단 간 차이를 파악하였다. 이를 위해 사회적 고립과 자기관리 등 핵심 변수의 기술통계, 변수 간 상관관계 분석, 집단 간 차이검증 및 연구모형에 따른 위계적 회귀분석을 진행하였다. 최종적으로는 소득 수준이 사회적 고립과 자기관리 요인 사이에서 조절변수로써 상호작용을 하는지도 검증하였다. 이에 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 여성보다는 남성에서, 정규직보다는 비정규직에서, 학력과 소득에서는 저학력·저소득 집단에서 자기관리 수준이 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 물리적 고립보다는 정서적 고립이 좀 더 강하게 자기관리에 부정적 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 소득 수준은 정서적 고립과 상호작용하여 자기관리에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

영문 초록

This study focused on the emerging social problems of social isolation and the weakening or absence of self-care among young people. Based on the “Seoul City Survey on Isolated and Reclusive Youth,” this study examined the impact of emotional and physical isolation self-care among young people in their 20s and 30s. Furthermore, we identified group differences in social isolation and self-management based on sociodemographic characteristics. We conducted descriptive statistics on key variables such as social isolation and self-care, correlation analyses between variables, and cross-group differences tests. We also conducted hierarchical regression analysis based on the research model. Finally, we examined whether income level interacted as a moderator between social isolation and self-care. The following conclusions were drawn. First, self-care levels were lower among men than women, among non-regular workers than regular workers, and among those with low education and income. Second, emotional isolation had a stronger negative impact on self-care than physical isolation. Third, income level interacted with emotional isolation to negatively impact self-care.
