2000년대 이후 노인평생교육 연구동향 : 국내 주요학술지 논문을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 노인평생교육 연구가 국내의 다양한 학문분야에서 본격적으로 이루어지기 시작한 2000년도부터 2024년 12월 31일까지 관련 주요학술지에 게재된 연구들의 전반적인 동향을 분석하였다. 연구동향은 노인평생교육 관련 주요학술지에 게재된 논문 220편을 대상으로 11개 논문분석 준거 틀에 따라 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 출처 및 연도별에서 노년학연구에 게재된 논문이 가장 많았고, 2016∼2020년에 가장 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 둘째, 학습자별에서 2016∼2020년에 가장 많았고, 셋째, 교육자별에서 2011∼2015년에 가장 많았으며, 넷째, 7진 분류체계 프로그램별에서 인문교양교육 관련연구가 가장 많았다. 다섯째, 교육기관별은 공공기관에서 가장 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 여섯째, 제도·정책 및 시스템별에서 2016∼2020년에 가장 많았고, 일곱째, 국가별에서 국내와 국외 비교 연구가 주를 이루었다. 여덟째, 패러다임·이념성별에서 2000∼2005년에 가장 많았고, 아홉째, 이론 및 개념별에서 2016∼2020년에 가장 많았으며, 열째, 철학 및 역사별에서는 전체적으로 연구가 부족한 수준이었다. 열한째, 학문별에서는 2006∼2010년에 가장 많았고, 학문적 정체성 관련연구가 주를 이루었다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the overall research trends in lifelong education for the elderly published in major related academic journals in Korea from 2000 to December 31, 2024. The research trends were analyzed based on 220 articles using 11 analytical criteria. The findings are as follows: First, the Journal of Gerontological Studies published the largest number of articles, with research activity peaking between 2016 and 2020. Second, learner-focused studies were most prevalent from 2016 to 2020. Third, educator-focused studies peaked between 2011 and 2015. Fourth, among seven program categories, studies on humanities and liberal arts education were the most common. Fifth, public institutions were the most frequently studied educational organizations. Sixth, research on policies, systems, and institutional frameworks was most active from 2016 to 2020. Seventh, comparative studies between domestic and international cases were dominant in the national context category. Eighth, studies on paradigms and ideologies were most prevalent from 2000 to 2005. Ninth, research focusing on theories and concepts peaked from 2016 to 2020. Tenth, studies on philosophical and historical aspects were generally lacking. Eleventh, research by academic discipline was most active between 2006 and 2010, with a particular focus on academic identity.
