국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 다문화가족 아동의 지역아동센터 이용 경험을 탐색하여 다문화가족 아동의 건강한 발달을 돕기 위한 실천적 근거를 마련하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 ‘다문화가족 아동이 인식한 지역아동센터 이용경험의 성과와 한계, 그리고 나아갈 방향은 무엇인가?’라는 연구문제를 가지고 포커스그룹(FGI) 인터뷰를 적용하여 질적 연구를 실시하였다. 연구참여자는 의도적 표집방법을 통해 다문화가족 아동이면서 지역아동센터를 이용하고 있는 아동 18명을 3집단으로 구성하여 자료를 탐색하였다. 연구결과, 3가지의 대범주가 도출되었으며, 이를 구체적으로 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역아동센터 이용성과로는 ‘어울림’을 배우는 장이 되고 있음으로 도출되었으며, 둘째, 지역아동센터 이용의 한계로는 ‘다문화’에만 매몰되어 한 단계 뛰어넘지 못함으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 지역아동센터의 나아갈 방향으로는 ‘母’어와 ‘모’국이 잇닿는 강점 살려주기로 드러났다. 이에 본 연구의 의의는 다문화가족 아동을 돌보고 있는 지역아동센터의 전문성 강화 및 지속가능성을 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 기반으로 다문화가족 아동의 건강한 발달을 돕기 위한 다각적인 논의가 확대되길 기대해본다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of children from multicultural families in using local children's centers and to prepare practical grounds for helping the healthy development of children from multicultural families. To this end, 'What are the achievements, limitations, and future directions of the experience of using local children's centers recognized by children from multicultural families?' A qualitative study was conducted by applying focus group (FGI) interviews. As a result of the research, First, the results of using the regional children's center were ‘mingling together’ derived from the fact that it is a place to learn, and second, the limitation of using the regional children's center was that it was not possible ‘multiculture’ to go beyond one step because it was only obsessed with it. Finally, the direction of the regional children's center was ‘mother tongue’ and ‘native country’ revealed to be to make use of the strengths of the connection between the fish and the country. Based on this, it is hoped that multifaceted discussions will expand to help the healthy development of children from multicultural families.
