국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 성인학습자의 평생학습 참여동기와 행복감 관계에서 성장 마인드셋과 사회적 자본의 매개효과를 살펴보는데 있다. 이를 위해 평생학습을 수강하고 있는 성인학습자 196명을 대상으로 2024년 10월 21∼31일까지 실시하였다. 설문자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 신뢰도 검증, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인학습자의 평생학습 참여동기, 성장 마인드셋, 사회적 자본은 행복감에 유의미한 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 평생학습 참여동기와 행복감 관계에서 성장 마인드셋과 사회적 자본은 부분매개변수로 유의미한 효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 성인학습자들이 평생학습에 참여하는 동기는 다양하지만 이를 통해 형성된 성장 마인드셋과 사회적 자본은 삶에 대한 행복감을 증진할 수 있음을 의미한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of growth mindset and social capital in the relationship between adult learners' motivation to participate in lifelong learning and happiness. To this end, it was conducted from October 21 to 31, 2024, with 196 adult learners taking lifelong learning. The collected data were subjected to frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability verification, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS program, and the results of this study are as follows. First, adult learners' motivation to participate in lifelong learning, growth mindset, and social capital were found to have a significant positive effect on happiness. Second, in the relationship between motivation to participate in lifelong learning and happiness, growth mindset and social capital were confirmed to have a significant effect as partial parameters. These results indicate that adult learners have various motivations to participate in lifelong learning, but the growth mindset and social capital formed through them can promote happiness in life.
