국문 초록

본 연구는 의사국가시험의 실기시험 평가 지침에 제시된 의사소통 평가 내용을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 의사소통 행위를 중심으로 평가 범주를 재구조화하여 의사소통 역량을 보다 실효성 있게 평가할 수 있는 내용 체계를 제안하였다. 기존의 임상 증상별 평가 항목의 누락, 중복, 모호성 등의 문제점을 파악하고, 의사소통 기능에 기반한 평가 항목의 재구성을 시도하였다. 이를 통해 병력 청취, 설명, 설득, 공감과 배려, 관계 형성의 다섯 가지 평가 범주를 도출하였으며, 세부 항목은 수행 동사를 중심으로 명료화하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 임상진료시험에서의 의사소통 역량 평가 기준으로 활용될 뿐만 아니라, 의사 대상 평가 도구 개발 및 의사소통 교육 프로그램 설계에 실질적인 기여를 할 것으로 기대된다. 향후 연구에서는 본 연구의 재구조화 방안을 임상 환경에 적용하여 타당성을 검증하고, 의사소통 역량 교육 및 평가의 효과성을 제고하기 위한 추가적인 논의가 이루어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the communication evaluation criteria outlined in the clinical skills examination guidelines for the National Medical Licensing Examination and to propose a restructured framework centered on communication behaviors to enhance the assessment of communication competencies. The research identifies critical issues in the current symptom-based evaluation framework, including omissions, redundancies, and ambiguities, and reorganizes the evaluation items based on core communication functions. Five key domains—medical history taking, explanation, persuasion, empathy and care, and relationship building—were delineated, with specific items articulated using precise and observable action verbs. The findings of this study provide a practical foundation for the assessment of communication skills in clinical practice examination. Additionally, they offer valuable insights for the development of evaluation tools and educational programs aimed at fostering effective medical communication. Future research should focus on validating the applicability of the proposed framework in clinical contexts and further advancing strategies to improve communication skills training and assessment for medical professionals.
