국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 대학생의 성장마인드셋과 진로발달 간의 관계에서 진로목표조절과 진로결정몰입의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 부산 소재 D대학교 재학생 254명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 27.0 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 각 변인 간의 관계를 확인하기 위해 상관분석을 수행하였고, 진로목표조절과 진로결정몰입의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 대학생의 성장마인드셋, 진로목표조절, 진로결정몰입, 진로발달 간에는 유의미한 상관이 있다. 둘째, 대학생의 성장마인드셋과 진로발달 간의 관계에서 진로목표조절은 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 성장마인드셋과 진로발달 간의 관계에서 진로결정몰입은 억제효과를 보였다. 논의 및 결론: 성장마인드셋은 대학생의 진로발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 이 과정에서 진로목표조절은 그 영향을 부분적으로 매개하고, 진로결정몰입은 억제효과를 통해 두 변인 간의 혼재된 분산을 제거함으로써 성장마인드셋과 진로발달 간의 순수한 관계를 보다 명확히 드러낸 것으로 해석된다. 따라서 대학생의 진로발달을 효과적으로 지원하기 위해서는 성장마인드셋을 함양하고, 유연한 진로목표조절 역량을 강화하며, 진로결정몰입을 적절히 관리할 수 있는 체계적인 교육 및 상담 프로그램의 마련이 요구된다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of career goal adjustment and career decision commitment on the relationship between growth mindset and career development among university students. Method: A total of 254 students from a university in Busan participated in an online survey. The data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0. Correlation analysis was performed to examine relationships among variables, and multiple regression analysis was used to test the mediating effects of career goal adjustment and career decision commitment. Results: First, significant correlations were found among growth mindset, career goal adjustment, career decision commitment, and career development. Second, career goal adjustment partially mediated the relationship between growth mindset and career development. Third, career decision commitment showed a suppressor effect in the relationship between growth mindset and career development. Conclusion: Growth mindset positively influences career development, both directly and indirectly through career goal adjustment among university students. Additionally, career decision commitment functioned as a suppressor by removing overlapping variance, clarifying a clearer relationship between growth mindset and career development. To effectively support students' career development, it is necessary to foster a growth mindset, enhance flexible career goal adjustment, and provide career education and counseling that facilitate the appropriate management of career decision commitment.
