노인 디지털 정보화 수준이 우울에 미치는 영향: 사회자본 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 노인의 디지털 정보화 수준과 우울과의 관계를 살펴보고, 둘의 관계에서 사회자본이 갖는 매개효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 전라북도 총 14개 시·군에 거주하는 60세 이상 노인 500명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 이 중 475명의 응답을 SPSS 25.0과 AMOS 22.0 통계프로그램을 활용하여 분석 하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 디지털 정보화 수준이 높을수록 우울이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인의 디지털 정보화 수준이 높을수록 사회자본이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 노인의 사회자본이 높을수록 우울이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 노인의 디지털 정보화 수준, 사회자본, 우울 간의 매개효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 노인의 디지털 정보화 수준을 높이고 사회자본을 형성하여 우울을 감소시키는 데 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 시사한다. 따라서, 정책적으로 노인의 디지털 정보화와 사회자본 증진을 위한 실천적, 정책적 방안 등을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between the digital informatization level of the elderly and depression, and to investigate the mediating role of social capital. A total of 475 responses out of 500 were included in the final analysis, and the analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 and AMOS 22.0. The results revealed the following. First, the digital informatization level of the elderly was found to have a direct impact on depression. Second, it was confirmed that a higher digital informatization level in the elderly is associated with higher social capital. Third, higher social capital among the elderly is associated with reduced depression. Fourth, there is a mediating effect among the elderly's digital informatization level, social capital, and depression. These results suggest that increasing the digital iinformatization level among the elderly and fostering social capital play an important role in reducing depression. Therefore, practical and policy measures to enhance the digital iinformatization and social capital of the elderly have been proposed.
