잠재프로파일분석을 활용한 학생의 사회정서역량의유형 분류 및 영향요인 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생의 사회정서역량을 잠재프로파일분석(LPA)을 통해 유형화하고, 이에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인을 분석하였다. 연구대상은 경상북도교육청연구원이 수행한 ‘2024 경북교육종단연구’에 참여한 초등학교 4학년 학생 3,356명이며, 자료는 온라인 설문을 통해 수집되었다. 분석은 SPSS 26.0과 Mplus 8.3을 활용하여 기술통계, 잠재프로파일분석(LPA), 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석(R3STEP)을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 사회정서역량은 ‘낮은 수준 집단’, ‘보통 수준 집단’, ‘높은 수준 집단’의 3가지 잠재프로파일로 분류되었으며, 각 집단 간 자아존중감, 다문화수용성, 자기주도학습, (역)우울, 친구관계, 봉사활동에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 또한 성별, 부모자녀관계, 교사관계, 학업스트레스, 끈기, 학습동기는 사회정서역량 유형에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 아동의 사회정서역량 함양을 위한 교육적 개입과 정책 수립에 실증적 근거를 제공한다.

영문 초록

This study classified elementary school students' social-emotional competencies into types using latent profile analysis (LPA) and analyzed the major factors affecting them. The subjects of the study were 3,356 4th grade elementary school students who participated in the '2024 Gyeongbuk Education Longitudinal Study' conducted by the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education Research Institute. The analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0 and Mplus 8.3, using descriptive statistics, latent profile analysis (LPA), and multinomial logistic regression analysis (R3STEP). As a result of the analysis, social-emotional competencies were classified into three latent profiles: 'low-level group', 'moderate-level group', and 'high-level group', and there were significant differences between the groups in self-esteem, multicultural acceptance, self-directed learning, (reverse)depression, friendships, and volunteer activities. In addition, gender, parent-child relationship, teacher relationship, academic stress, grit, and learning motivation were found to be factors that significantly affected the types of social-emotional competencies.
