국문 초록

본 논문은 일본의 동아시아 FTA전략을 분석하고 한국의FTA전략에 대한 시사점을 제시한다. 일본은 그동안 일본 기업을 주축으로 FTA를 추진해 왔다.그러나 최근 중국의 급속한 부상으로 민간 기업에서 정부부문으로 FTA의 추진 주체가 전환되었다. 일본은 정부주도로 동아시아에 대한 자본과 기술의 지원을 통해 일본의 영향력을 강화함으로써 정부 주도로FTA체결을 가속화하는 전략을 취하고 있다.한국은 동아시아에 대한 진출 정도와 성격이 일본과 다르기 때문에 한국의 동아시아 전략은 지금까지와 차별화되어야 한다.

영문 초록

This thesis is to present FTA strategies of Japan in East Asia and Its Implications for Korea. Since 1960’s, Japan has intensified the enlargement of trade, economic support to East Asia, and direct investment in Japanese enterprises. That movement based on Japanese enterprises now reinforces with a need of economic cooperation and unification. The China shows positive contract willing in East Asia FTA, which used to be drove by private enterprises. In accordance with China, study and promotion of FTA in Japan are also concentrated by its government, which is also diverted from private part. In other words, China makes East Asia economic unification strategies with the power of Chinese emigrants, on the other hand, Japanese government lead East Asian FTA contract by advance into foreign market of private enterprises and support of economy and technology. Under this situation, Korea urges toward contract FTA between Japan, and East Asia. However, Korea has different economical state from Japanese’, so that we should channel the strategies which are suitable with our conditions.
