부모의 부부갈등과 양육방식이불안취약 유아와 불안안정 유아의 불안에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 어머니와 아버지의 부부갈등, 온정적 양육방식, 한계설정 양육방식의 차이를 알아보고, 이러한 변인이 유아의 불안에 미치는 영향력을 분석하고자 한다. 유아를 불안취약 유아와 불안안정 유아로 구분하여 그 영향력을 각각 알아보았다. 연구대상은 한국아동패널 7차년도 설문에 응한 유아와 부모 각각 1,212명이다. 검사도구의 신뢰도를 알아보기 위해 Cronbach’s 를 산출하였다. 각 변인들의 차이를 알아보기 위해 대응표본 t-검증, 군집분석, 이들 변인이 유아의 불안에 미치는 영향력을 검증하고자 단계적회귀분석하였다. 연구결과, 어머니와 아버지의 온정적 양육방식과 한계설정 양육방식은 유의한 차이를 나타내고 있었다. 이러한 변인이 불안취약 유아의 불안에 미치는 영향력을 알아본 결과 어머니의 부부갈등, 어머니의 온정적 양육방식, 아버지의 온정적 양육방식은 불안취약 유아의 불안에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 또한, 아버지의 온정적 양육방식과 어머니의 부부갈등은 불안안정 유아의 불안에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이 중 어머니의 부부갈등은 유아의 불안 주요 예측변인으로 확인되었다. 어머니의 부부갈등은 유아의 불안을 강화하는 변인에해당하였다. 이에, 자녀의 긍정적 발달을 위해 어머니의 부부갈등 감소방안이 필요함을알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study examined the differences between mothers’ and fathers’ maritalconflict, warm parenting, and limit setting parenting styles, and analyzed theinfluence of these variables on children’s anxiety. The children were divided intoanxiety-prone and anxiety-secure children, and the influence of these variables wasexamined separately. The study subjects were 1,212 children and 1,212 parentswho responded to the 7th Panel Study on Korean Children. To determine thereliability of the test tool, Cronbach’s was calculated. To examine the differencesbetween each variable, paired sample t-test, cluster analysis, and stepwiseregression analysis were performed to verify the influence of these variables onchildren’s anxiety. The results revealed differences between mothers’ and fathers’ warm parentingstyles and limit setting parenting styles. The influence of these variables on theanxiety of anxious-vulnerable children was examined. As a result, mothers’ maritalconflict, mothers’ warm parenting styles, and fathers’ warm parenting styles hadeffects on the anxiety of anxious-vulnerable children. In addition, fathers’ warmparenting styles and mothers’ marital conflict had effects on the anxiety ofanxious-secure children. Among these, mothers’ marital conflict was identified as amajor predictor of children’s anxiety. Mothers’ marital conflict was a variable thatintensified children’s anxiety. Therefore, it was found that measures to reducematernal marital conflict are necessary for the positive development of children.
