출산양육지원제도가 청년 임금근로자 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향: 출산·양육지원제도의 영향을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 청년세대 임금근로자의 다양한 영역에 대한 삶의 만족 수준에 따라 집단을 유형화하고, 이에 출산·양육지원제도가 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 한국노동패널 24차 자료를 기반으로 잠재프로파일분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 청년세대 임금근로자의 다양한 삶의 영역에 대한 만족도는 두 개의 잠재 프로파일로 분류되었으며, 각각‘직무 중심의 저수준 삶의 만족 집단’과 ‘전반적으로 고수준의 삶의 만족 집단’으로 명명되었다. 둘째, 영역별 삶의 만족에 따라 유형화된 집단에 대한 출산·양육지원제도의 영향을 분석한 결과 출산·양육지원제도의 수가 많을수록 ‘전반적-고수준 삶의 만족 집단’에 속할 확률이 높은 것으로 나타났으나 유의미하진 않았다. 본 연구는 출산·양육지원제도의한계를 실증적으로 확인했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 정책적 함의로는 출산·양육지원제도의 대상자 요건을 확대하고, 제도 시행으로 인한 사업장 내 업무 공백을 해소할 수 있도록 대체인력 채용지원 서비스의 강화를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to classify groups according to the level oflife satisfaction in various areas among wage workers of the youth generation andto identify the influence of fertility-childcare support systems on this. Therefore, to achieve the study's purpose, the 24th Korea Labor Panel data were used, and athree-step approach of latent profile analysis (LPA) was applied using the Mplusstatistical program. Looking at the main analysis results of this study derivedthrough this approach, firstly, the latent profiles of life satisfaction in various areasamong youth generation wage workers were largely divided into two groups. Thesetwo groups were named the 'Job-low-level life satisfaction group' and the'Overall-high-level life satisfaction group'. Secondly, upon examining the influenceof fertility-childcare support systems on the life satisfaction of youth generationwage workers, it was found that the greater the number of fertility-childcare supportsystems provided, the higher the probability of belonging to the 'Overall-high-levellife satisfaction group'. However, it was not statistically significant(OR=1.09, p>.05),Based on the results of this analysis, we propose expanding policy provisionsallowing unstable youth generation wage workers. In addition, we proposestrengthening support services for recruiting replacement workers to minimize jobvacancies resulting from the use of the fertility-childcare support system.
