국내 다문화 청소년 대상 진로직업 프로그램 효과에 대한 메타분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2010년부터 2025년 4월까지 발표된 국내 연구 15편을 대상으로 메타분석을 실시하여, 한국의 다문화 청소년을 위한 진로 및 직업 중재 프로그램의 효과성을 검토하였다. 총 111개의 효과크기를 분석하고 무선효과모형(random effects model)을 적용한 결과, 전체 평균 효과크기는 0.932로, 중간에서 큰 정도의 긍정적인 효과를 나타냈다. 중재 효과는 중도입국 청소년, 초등학교 고학년, 회기 수가 10회 이상인 프로그램, 회기당 시간 81~110분, 대집단 중재, 학교 기반 실시 환경에서 더 높게 나타났다. 교사가 실시한 프로그램이나 충실도(fidelity)가 보고된 프로그램 또한 더 강한 효과를 보였다. 상담 기반 중재가 가장 높은 효과를 보였으며, 진로 인식과 진로 성숙 관련 변인이 가장 강한 효과를 나타냈다. 반면, 진로 의사결정, 적응력, 탐색 관련 결과는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 본 연구는 국내 다문화 청소년을 위한 진로교육 프로그램의 중요성과 효과성을 실증적으로 입증하며, 향후 프로그램 개발 및 실행에 있어 실천적 함의를 제공한다.

영문 초록

This study examined the effectiveness of career and vocational intervention programs for multicultural adolescents in South Korea using a meta-analysis of 15 domestic studies published between 2010 and April 2025. Using 111 effect sizes and a random effects model, the overall mean effect size was 0.932, indicating a moderate to large positive effect. Effectiveness was higher for those with immigrant backgrounds, upper elementary students, programs with over 10 sessions, session lengths of 81–110 minutes, large group formats, and school-based settings. Teacher-led programs and those with reported fidelity also showed stronger effects. Counseling-based interventions had the highest impact, and career awareness and career maturity showed the strongest effects, while career decision-making, adaptability, and exploration outcomes were not statistically significant. This study provides empirical support for the importance and effectiveness of career education programs for multicultural youth in Korea, offering practical implications for future program developments and implementation.
