국문 초록

본 연구는 보육교사의 자아탄력성과 사회적 지지 및 심리적 안녕감이 어떤지 살펴보고, 그 관계는 어떠하며, 자아탄력성과 사회적 지지가 심리적 안녕감에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 광주광역시에 소재한 어린이집에 근무 중인 보육교사 210명을 대상으로 자아탄력성, 사회적 지지, 심리적 안녕감을 측정하기 위한 평정척도를 활용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 자아탄력성, 사회적 지지, 심리적 안녕감은 보통이상의 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 자아탄력성과 사회적 지지 및 심리적 안녕감 간에는 유의미하게 높은 정적 상관이 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사의 심리적 안녕감에 낙관적 태도, 자신감, 물질적 지지의 순서로 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 보육교사의 심리적 안녕감을 높이는 보육환경 조성에 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate general trends and the relationship between child care teachers’ ego-resilience, social support, and psychological well-being, and to elucidate how ego-resilience and social support affect teachers’ psychological well-being. A rating scale was utilized to evaluate ego-resilience, social support, and psychological well-being of 210 child care teachers working in nurseries located in Gwangju City. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, teachers’ self-resilience, social support, and psychological well-being were all above the normal level. Second, child care teachers’ self-resilience, social support, and psychological well-being showed a meaningfully high positive correlation. Third, optimistic attitude, self-confidence, and material support contribute to enhance teachers’ psychological well-being in that order. The results of this study are expected to provide baseline data for establishing child care environments which increase teachers’ sense of psychological well-being.
