어린이집 「3-5세 연령별 누리과정 교사용 지도서」의 미술활동 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 어린이집 3-5세 연령별 누리과정 교사용 지도서의 미술활동에 나타난 미적요소, 미술표현, 심미적 태도가 연령별, 생활주제별로 어떠한지를 분석하여 미술교육의 전반적인 경향을 파악하고, 향후 유아미술교육이 나아가야 할 바람직한 지향점을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 연구결과 첫째, 미적요소는 모든 연령에서 형태가 가장 많이 나타났으며, 3세와 4세는 형태, 색, 질감, 선, 공간의 순으로 나타났고, 5세는 형태, 색, 공간, 질감, 선의 순서로 나타났다. 또한 미술표현은 모든 연령에서 입체표현보다 평면표현의 빈도가 더 높았으며 심미적 태도는 모든 연령에서 미학이 가장 높은 빈도로 편중되어 있었다. 둘째, 3-5세 연령별 누리과정 교사용 지도서에 제시된 미술활동의 미적요소, 미술표현, 심미적 태도는 생활주제에 따라 빈도의 차이가 크지 않았으며 대체적으로 고르게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 어린이집 3-5세 연령별 누리과정 교사용 지도서의 미술활동에서 누리과정 예술경험 영역이 추구하는 목표인 심미감을 각 생활주제별로 고르게 반영하고 있으나 연령별로는 충분히 반영하고 있지 않은 것이다. 따라서 누리과정 개정 시, 예술경험 영역에서 추구하는 심미감을 반영하여 교사용 지도서를 개정할 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest a desirable direction of art activities for children. According to age groups and themes based on daily life, this study analyzes the aesthetic elements, artistic expression, and aesthetic attitude as described in the art experience criteria of 「The teachers’ guide book of Nuri-curriculum for ages 3-5 at child care centers」. This study then attempts to understand the overall trend of the art activities. As a result of investigation, regarding aesthetic elements, shape was the most prominent element shown by children of all ages. In the age group of 3 to 4 years, the leading aesthetic elements shown were shape, color, space, texture and line in consecutive order. Also, regarding the artistic expression, two dimensional expressions were more frequently viewed than three-dimensional expressions in all age groups. In relation to the aesthetic attitude, there was concentration of high frequency in the area of ‘aesthetics’, which was observed in all ages. Secondly, aesthetic elements, artistic expression, aesthetic attitude described in the art experience criteria of 「The teachers’ guide book of Nuri-curriculum for ages 3-5 at child care centers」, did not show any significant difference in frequency depending on the themes based on daily life, but appeared evenly distributed.
