통합교육 관련 교원 연수에 대한 국내 연구 동향 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 통합교육 관련 교원 연수에 대한 국내 연구의 전반적인 동향과 연수의 구성 및 운영에 대해 분석하여, 후속 연구 방향 및 정책 기반 마련을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2000년부터 2025년 3월까지 국내에서 수행된 통합교육 교사 연수 관련 연구 32편을 체계적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 출판연도는 주로 2003년에서 2011년 사이에 집중되었으며 최근 현저히 감소하고 있는 추세였다. 연구 참여자는 유아교육기관 소속 교원에 편중되었으며, 일반교사, 일반교사 및 특수교사가 공통으로 참여한 연구가 동일한 비중으로 높게 나타났고, 다수가 통합교육 경험을 보유하고 있었다. 연구 방법은 조사연구와 실험연구에 집중되었다. 연수 구성과 운영 측면에서 연수 내용은 교수학습 중심이 실행 영역에 집중되었고, 연수 형태는 혼합형이 가장 많이 나타났다. 연수 방법은 강의를 기본적으로 활용하였고, 운영 방식은 주로 대면으로 이루어졌으며 연수 시간은 대부분은 60시간 이하의 연수가 운영된 것으로 나타났다. 연수 성과는 교사의 교수 실행 역량 향상 및 태도 변화에 초점을 두고 있었다. 이상의 분석 결과를 토대로 향후 통합교육 교원 연수의 실질적인 개선 방향을 다음의 4가지로 제안하였다: 1) 다학제 기반의 융복합 연수 설계, 2) 맞춤형 연수 체계 구축, 3) 교육 공동체 간 협력 중심 연수 운영, 4) 정책 연계를 통한 후속 지원 체계 강화.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the overall trends in domestic research on in-service teacher training for inclusive education and to explore the structures and operations of such programs, ultimately providing foundational data for future research directions and policy development for improvement. To this end, a total of 32 studies related to teacher training for inclusive education, published between the years 2000 and March of 2025, were systematically reviewed. The analysis revealed that most studies were published between 2003 and 2011, with a significant decline in recent years. Participants were predominantly teachers from early childhood institutions, with the same proportion of studies with only general education teachers and those with both general and special education teachers, many of whom had prior experience with inclusive education. Research methods were mainly limited to survey-based and experimental designs. Regarding the content and implementation of training programs, most focused on instructional practices within the execution domains. Blended learning was the most frequently adopted training format, with lectures serving as the primary instructional method. Most training was conducted face-to-face and lasted less than 60 hours. The outcomes of the training emphasized improvements in teaching practice and changes in teachers’ attitudes. Based on these findings, the study proposes four key directions for enhancing future training programs for inclusive education teachers: 1) interdisciplinary and integrative program design, 2) development of customized training systems, 3) operation of training centered on educational community collaboration, and 4) establishment of a policy-linked follow-up support system for post-training management.
