홀리스틱 교육철학에 기반한 교육대학원 교사양성과정 통합설계 모형 개발: A대학교 사례를 바탕으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 Miller의 홀리스틱 교육철학(Holistic Educational Philosophy)의 핵심 원리인 ‘통합성(connectedness)’ 개념을 기반으로 교육대학원 교사양성과정의 구조를 분석하고, 이론적 타당성과 실천 가능성을 갖춘 통합 교육과정 설계 모형을 개발하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전공 내 주제 간 연계성, 전공 간 통합 가능성, 교육철학 명시 수준이라는 세 가지 하위 변인을 중심으로 교육과정 문서를 정량적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 전공 내 통합성은 비교적 확보되어 있었으나, 전공 간 연계성과 교육철학의 내면화 수준은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 현재의 교사양성과정이 분절적이고 기능 중심의 구조에 머물러 있음을 시사한다. 이러한 한계를 극복하고자 본 연구는 총 다섯 개의 핵심 모듈로 구성된 예비 수업안 모형을 개발하고, 현직 초·중·고 교사 14인을 대상으로 세 차례의 델파이 조사를 통해 그 타당성과 실행 가능성을 검증하였다. 전문가 집단은 ‘자기 성찰 기반 교수법’, ‘전공 간 팀티칭 수업모듈’, ‘철학 기반 목표 수립’ 등에 대해 중요도와 실행 가능성 모두 평균 4.5점 이상, CVR(Content Validity Ratio) 기준치를 상회하는 높은 합의를 보였다. 이는 홀리스틱 교육철학이 제시하는 교육철학의 내면화와 구조적 통합이 교사양성과정에서 실현 가능함을 보여준다. 아울러 본 연구는 디지털 교육환경의 확대 속에서 철학 기반 설계 원리가 AI 기반 교수설계 도구와 어떻게 접목될 수 있는지에 대한 가능성도 제시하였다. 학습 목표 설정, 개인화된 피드백, 적응형 학습 경로 설계 등 AI 기술의 발전은 교육 설계의 자동화를 촉진하고 있으나, 이는 교육의 목적성과 인간적 가치를 간과할 위험도 내포한다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 철학과 기술의 조화를 추구하는 후속 연구의 필요성을 제기하며, 미래 교사교육의 전환을 위한 실천적 토대를 제공하고자 한다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 교사양성과정의 철학-제도-실천의 유기적 연계를 통해 기존의 기능주의적 교육구조를 재구성하고, 전공 내 통합설계 역량 강화, 전공 간 협력 기반 수업 설계, 전인성 평가체계 마련 등 실행 가능한 교육 설계 전략을 제시하였다는 점에서 학문적·실천적 의의를 지닌다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the structure of graduate-level teacher education programs through the lens of Miller’s Holistic Educational Philosophy, focusing on the core concept of “connectedness.” By quantitatively examining curriculum documents, the study explores three sub-variables: intra-disciplinary coherence, interdisciplinary integration, and the degree of philosophical articulation. The analysis revealed that while intra-disciplinary connectedness was relatively strong, interdisciplinary linkage and the internalization of educational philosophy were weak. This suggests a fragmented and function-oriented structure within current teacher education curricula.Toaddress these limitations, the study developed a prototype curriculum model comprising five core modules and conducted a three-round Delphi survey with 14 in-service elementary and secondary school teachers to validate its feasibility. The expert panel showed high consensus, exceeding the CVR (Content Validity Ratio) threshold, on the importance and feasibility of elements such as reflective teaching practices, interdisciplinary team-teaching modules, and philosophically grounded goal-setting.Furthermore,this study examines the potential of integrating philosophical design principles with AI-based instructional design tools in the context of expanding futuredigital learning environments. While AI supports the automation of educational designthroughadaptive learning pathways, personalized feedback, and data-driven goalsetting,italso poses risks of neglecting educational purpose and humanistic values. Thus, this research highlights the need for future studies that harmonize philosophical integrity with technological innovation.In conclusion, the study offers both theoretical and practical implications by proposing a structurally integrated teacher education framework. It emphasizes a shift from a fragmented, functionalist model to a holistic one that fosters intra- and interdisciplinary curriculum coherence, collaboration-based lesson design, and a framework for evaluating whole-person education.
