중소병원 입원환자의 환자참여에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 중소병원 입원환자의 환자참여에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고, 이를 바탕으로 환자안전 증진을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 서울과 경기도 소재 중소병원에 입원한 297명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 26.0 프로그램을 이용해 기술통계, t-test, 일원분산분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 환자경험(β=0.45, p<.001), 건강정보이해력(β=0.34, p<.001), 환자안전 교육(β=0.13, p<.001), 자기효능감(β=0.09, p=0.036)이 환자참여에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 이들 요인의 설명력은 80.7%로 나타났다. 또한 연령, 결혼 상태, 직업, 환자안전 사고 및 환자안전 교육 경험이 주요 변수에 공통적으로 유의한 영향을 주는 일반적 특성으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 중소병원과 입원환자의 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 교육 프로그램의 필요성을 제언하며, 이를 통해 환자참여 향상 및 환자안전 강화에 기여할 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to identify factors influencing patient participation among inpatients at small and medium-sized hospitals and to provide foundational data for promoting patient safety. A survey was conducted with 297 patients who were admitted to small and medium-sized hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 26.0 program, utilizing descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that patient experience (β=0.45, p<.001), health literacy (β=0.34, p<.001), patient safety education (β=0.13, p<.001) and self-efficacy (β=0.09, p=0.036) had a significant effect on patient participation, and the explanatory power of these factors was 80.7%. In addition, age, marital status, occupation, experience with patient safety incidents, and experience with patient safety education were identified as general characteristics that had a significant influence on the main variables. This study suggests the necessity of personalized educational programs that reflect the characteristics of small and medium-sized hospitals and inpatients, indicating that such programs can contribute to enhancing patient participation and strengthening patient safety.
