국문 초록

본 연구는 주거환경과 행복의 관계를 살펴보고, 주거환경과 행복의 영향 관계에서 가구소득의 매개효과가 있는지를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 국회미래연구원의 ‘2023년 한국행복조사(3차 조사)’에 응답한 전국 일반 국민 15세 이상 16,305명을 대상으로 SPSS 25.0과 Process Macro 4.1를 사용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 주거환경에 대한 긍정적 인식 수준이 높을수록 행복이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 가구소득이 높을수록 행복이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 주거환경과 행복의 관계에서 가구소득이 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 행복을 높이기 위해서는 주거환경을 개선하고 가구소득을 증대 또는 안정을 위한 공공정책의 방향성과 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the relationship between residential environment and happiness, and analyzed whether there is a mediating effect of household income in the relationship between residential environment and happiness. To this end, the data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and Process Macro 4.1, targeting 16,305 general citizens aged 15 or older nationwide who responded to the National Assembly Research Service's '2023 Korea Happiness Survey (3rd Survey)'. The analysis results showed that, first, the higher the level of positive perception of residential environment, the higher the happiness, and the higher the household income, the higher the happiness. Second, household income partially mediated the relationship between residential environment and happiness. Based on these research results, the direction and policy implications of public policies to improve residential environment and increase or stabilize household income in order to increase happiness were presented.
