국문 초록

청소년소설이 ‘청소년의 목소리를 담고 있을까’라는 모색의 지점에서 청소년소설 장르 정체성에 적절한 문학의 역할에 주목하였다. 연구 목적은 청소년소설에서 커뮤니케이션 유형과 청소년 성장 양상의 상관성을 분석하여 장르 정체성을 정립하는 데 있다. 연구 방법은 청소년들의 말하기 방식을 언어 수행의 관점에서 분석하였다. 연구 내용은 첫째, 청소년의 목소리가 문제 해결을 하는 저항의 커뮤니케이션 유형에서 청소년은 자기 결정권자로서 주체적 존재로 성장한다. 둘째, 청소년의 목소리를 듣지 못해 놓치는 커뮤니케이션 유형에서 청소년을 자살로 내몰 수밖에 없는 상실의 존재로서의 반성장 양상을 확인하였다. 셋째, 온라인 공간을 활용한 익명의 커뮤니케이션 유형에서 청소년이 문제를 표출하거나 소통하며 자아 정체성 혼란을 극복하며 성장한다. 연구 결과는 청소년소설에서 자아 정체성 혼란을 겪는 청소년 커뮤니케이션의 특징을 말하기 방식으로 도출한 점에서 문학의 역할과 장르 정체성을 확보하였다. 나아가 청소년의 말하기 방식을 이해하고 소통 부재의 문제를 해결하는 효과성을 모색할 수 있다는 점에서 이 연구의 확장적 함의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

This study gave a focus on roles of literature which is appropriate to genre identity of adolescent novels in the point of searching for the question whether adolescent novels would contain their voices. It aimed to establish the genre identity by analyzing the correlations between types of communication and growth aspects in adolescent novels. For the purpose, this study analyzed speaking types of adolescents in respect of language execution. The contents of the study were presented: First, in the communication type of resistant voice for problem shooting, adolescents were grown up as subjective existence of self-determinists. Second, in the communication type of missing their voices, the anti-growth aspect was discovered that adolescents were forced to commit suicide as existence of loss. Third, in the communication type of anonymity using online space, adolescents overcame confusion in self-identity through expression of problems or communication to be grown up. The results of the study were presented as follows: This study investigated roles of literature and genre identity at the point of deriving communication characteristics of adolescents who were suffering from confusion in self-identity in adolescent novels. Further, it had expansive meaning in that adolescents’ speaking types were understood and a problem of communication lack would be effectively solved.
