국문 초록

본 연구는 부부의 성역할 인식과 행복감, 삶의 만족도의 관계를 분석하기 위해 행위자-상대자 상호의존모형(Actor-Partner Interdepence Model:APIM)을 적용하였다. 연구에서는 기혼 부부 622쌍(총 1,244명)을 대상으로 가사, 양육 및 성평등 인식에 대해 남편과 아내 동시에 조사한 실태조사를 활용하였으며, APIM을 활용하여 남편과 아내가 서로에게 미치는 영향을 동시에 분석하였다. 연구결과, 행위자 효과 측면에서 남편의 성역할 인식이 전통적일수록 본인의 행복감이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 상대자 효과에서는 남편의 성역할 인식이 전통적일수록 아내의 행복감과 삶의 만족도가 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 기존 연구들이 개인을 중심으로 영향 요인을 분석한 것과 달리, 본 연구는 기존의 연구들이 주로 개인을 단위로 영향 요인을 분석한 것과 달리, 부부 단위를 분석하여 성역할 인식과 행복감, 삶의 만족도의 관계를 보다 체계적으로 탐구하였다. 이를 통해 부부의 성역할 인식이 행복과 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 개인 및 부부의 행복 및 삶의 만족의 증진을 위한 실천적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study applied the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model (APIM) to analyze the relationship between marital gender role perception, happiness, and life satisfaction. Using survey data on housework, childcare, and gender equality perceptions, this study examined 622 married couples (a total of 1,244 individuals) to investigate how spouses influence each other. The findings revealed an actor effect, where husbands with more traditional gender role perceptions reported lower levels of happiness. Additionally, a partner effect was observed, indicating that the more traditional a husband's gender role perception, the lower his wife's happiness and life satisfaction. Unlike previous studies that primarily focused on individuals, this study adopted a couple-centered approach to systematically explore the interrelations between gender role perception, happiness, and life satisfaction. Through this analysis, the study provides practical implications for enhancing individual and marital well-being.
