국문 초록

본 연구에서는 화자기능 집중훈련(Speaker Immersion Protocol)이 자폐성장애를 가진 초등학생의 꾸밈어-맨드(autoclitic mand)증가와 문제적 울음행동의 감소에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 2명의 자폐성장애 미국 초등학생이 본 실험에 참가하였으며, 독립변인과 종속변인의 기능적 관계를 분석하기 위해 지연된 대상자간 중다기초선 설계법이 사용되었다. 종속변인으로서 각 연구세션에서 관찰된 실험참가자의 꾸밈어-맨드의 발현 횟수와 문제적 울음행동의 총 지속시간을 중재전 기초선, 중재선, 중재후 기초선에 걸쳐 측정하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 화자기능 집중훈련이 독립변인으로 사용 되었다. 화자기능 집중훈련 중재선 동안에 연구자는 집약적인 유인력(Establishing Operation)을 제공하여 실험참가자가 원하는 각종 강화제·상황·활동 등을 지속적인 맨드 반응을 통해서만 획득하게 하였다. 실험 결과에 따르면, 모든 실험 참가자의 꾸밈어-맨드의 횟수가 중재절차가 진행됨에 따라 증가하였고, 문제적 울음행동은 감소되는 결과를 보여주었다.

영문 초록

The current study investigated the effects of a Speaker Immersion Protocol on the number of autoclitic mands and duration of tantrum behavior of two seven-year old males diagnosed with ASD. The time-delayed multiple baseline across participants design was used to analyze the relationship between dependent variables and independent variables. The dependent variables of this study were (a) the number of autoclitic mands emitted during both non-instructional and instructional settings and (b) the duration of tantrum behavior. Once a stable responding trend during the baseline was reached, the participants entered the Speaker Immersion Protocol where the experimenter presented frequent Establishing Operations (EO) so that the participants had to emit mands to engage in desired activity, or acquire a certain reinforcer. After the mastery of the Speaker Immersion Protocol, the post-intervention baseline sessions were conducted. Results showed that both participants’ autoclitic mands increased across both instructional and non-instructional settings. In addition, the duration of tantrum behavior decreased for both participants.
