국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학생의 자기효능감이 생활만족에 미치는 영향과 그 과정에서 공동체의식의 매개효과를 검증함과 동시에 성별에 따른 차이를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수도권 소재 대학교에 재학중인 남녀 대학생 각 200명씩 총 400명으로부터 자료를 수집하여 구조모형분석 및 다집단분석을 시행하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 자기효능감은 생활만족에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 공동체의식은 자기효능감이 생활만족에 미치는 영향을 유의하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자기효능감이 생활만족에 미치는 영향에서 공동체의식의 매개효과가 성별에 따라 유의하게 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 여학생의 경우 공동체의식의 매개효과가 유의하였으나, 남학생의 경우 공동체의식의 매개효과가 유의하지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 대학생의 삶의 만족 증진을 돕기 위한 상담 및 교육프로그램을 구성할 때, 참여자의 성별에 따라 프로그램의 전략과 구성요소에서 초점을 달리해야 함을 제안하는 바이다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to verify the effect of university students' self-efficacy on life satisfaction and the mediating effect of sense of community in the process, as well as to confirm gender differences. For this purpose, structural model analysis and multi-group analysis were conducted by collecting data from a total of 400 students, 200 male and female undergraduates enrolled in a university in the Seoul metropolitan area. As a result of the analysis, first, self-efficacy had a significant positive effect on life satisfaction. Second, it was found that sense of community significantly mediated the effect of self-efficacy on life satisfaction. Third, in the effect of self-efficacy on life satisfaction, it was found that the mediating effect of sense of community differed significantly according to gender. In the case of female students, the mediating effect of sense of community was significant, but in the case of male students, the mediating effect of sense of community was not. Based on these results, it is suggested that when constructing counseling and educational programs to help undergraduates improve their life satisfaction, the focus should be different in the program's strategy and components according to the gender of the participants.
