기혼 남녀의 커플 도식이 부부만족도에 미치는 영향: 정서조절과 정서적 상호작용의 조절된 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 개인의 커플 관계와 관련된 부적응적 신념인 커플 도식이 부부간의 긍정적․부정적 정서적 상호작용을 매개로 부부만족도에 미치는 영향에서 정서조절의 조절된 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울․경기 지역에 거주하는 30∼59세 기혼 남녀 219명을 대상으로 커플 도식, 정서적 상호작용, 정서조절, 부부만족도를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0과 PROCESS Macro를 사용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 매개효과 및 조절된 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 커플 도식은 부부만족도에 부정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 긍정적 상호작용과 부정적 상호작용이 각각 유의한 매개역할을 하였다. 특히 정서조절은 긍정적 상호작용 경로의 효과를 강화하여, 정서조절 수준이 높을수록 긍정적 상호작용이 부부만족도를 더욱 크게 증진시키는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 부정적 상호작용경로에서는 정서조절의 조절 효과가 유의하지 않았다. 이는 부부 상담 시, 부정적 상호작용을 줄이는 노력뿐 아니라 정서조절 능력을 향상시켜 긍정적 상호작용을 강화하는 개입이 중요함을 시사한다. 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구의 의의, 시사점, 제한점 및 후속 연구 방향을은 논의를 통해 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the moderated mediation effect of emotion regulation on the relationship between couple schema defined as maladaptive beliefs related to couple relationships and couple satisfaction through positive and negative emotional interactions between spouses. A total of 219 married men and women, aged 30 to 59 and residing in the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions, participated in the study and completed measures of couple schema, emotional interaction, emotion regulation, and couple satisfaction. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and PROCESS Macro to conduct descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and tests of mediation and moderated mediation effects. The results indicated that couple schema had a negative effect on couple satisfaction, with both positive and negative emotional interactions serving as significant mediators. In particular, emotion regulation was found to strengthen the effect of positive emotional interaction, such that higher levels of emotion regulation further enhanced the positive impact of emotional interaction on couple satisfaction. In contrast, no moderating effect of emotion regulation was found in the pathway involving negative emotional interaction. These findings suggest that in marital counseling, interventions should not only aim to reduce negative interactions but also focus on improving emotion regulation skills to foster positive interactions. The implications, significance, limitations, and directions for future research have been discussed.
