국문 초록

This paper examines the literary materialization of Keiichiro Hirano's dividualism. Hirano introduces the concept of dividual that is smaller than an indivisible individual, attempts to dismantle the concept of ‘true self’ advocates the humanism that several selves exist in a person depending on the opposing person, and asks the nature of the identity buried in the unit of individual. In Nudes Without Faces, it is an evolved element that seeks the identity of ‘true self’ in the space of the Internet and creates an other person of itself through the anonymity and facelessness. In Dawn, the structure of dividualism is specified by introducing a unit called dividu al that corresponds to an individual. It contains realistic and philosophical predictions and anguish on the plains to seek ‘how to live’ as an alternati ve to love and hope in a society where violence is prevalent, combined wi th facial recognition system. In A Man, it faces the question of ‘what defines humans’ from the perspective of humanism, drawing human desire for identity, love, and acceptance of death from the perspective of humani sm and philosophical topics about the ambiguity of identity. After all, Hir ano's dividualism is seen as an attempt to overcome and compromise the interruption of communication through interaction with others to achieve convergence and solidarity.

영문 초록

本論文は平野啓一郎の分人主義の文学的具現を考察したものである。平 野の分人主義は一人の人間の中には、対峙する相手に応じて何人もの‘自分’が存在するという考え方である。筆者は、分人主義が芽生える『顔のない裸体』をはじめ、分人主義が本格化する第3期の『ダーン』·「ある男」を中心に考察した。『顔のない裸体』では、インターネットという空間で既存の匿名性とともに匿顔性を自分の別の分人を生成していく要素とし、事実と虚構が共鳴する世界であることが現われた。『ダーン』では、分人主義の構造を具体化し、顔認証検索技術と結合された閉鎖回路による監視と統制、暴力が蔓延した社会で‘どのように生きるか’を愛と希望の代案として模索しする一方、宇宙船という閉鎖的な環境における対人関係の苦情を分人主義を通じて解釈しようとする平野の現実的で哲学的な苦悩が込められている。『ある男』では、自発的行方不明者の蒸発を素材にして、果たして‘人間を規定するものは何か’という問いと対面しながら、分人主義の観点からアイデンティティに対する人間の欲望と愛と死の受け入れ方とアイデンティティの曖昧さについて哲学的話題を投げる作品と言える。
