대학교 신입생의 진로탐색학점제 효과성 분석: 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로탐색행동을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 F대학교 신입생 대상 진로탐색학점제 프로그램이 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로탐색행동에 미치는 효과를 실증적으로 검증하고, 프로그램 효과가 신입생의 진로 고민 유형에 따라 어떻게 다르게 나타나는지를 심층 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 F대학교 진로탐색학점제를 수강한 신입생 304명을 대상으로 단일집단 사전-사후검사 설계를 적용한 준실험연구를 수행하였다. 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로탐색행동 수준을 측정하기 위해 프로그램 시작 전과 후에 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 진로탐색학점제 참여한 신입생은 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로탐색행동 모두 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었으며, 두 변인의 모든 하위 요인에서 유의미한 사전-사후 평균값 증가가 확인되었다. 한편, 진로탐색학점제 진로 고민 유형별 분석 결과는 유형에 따라 프로그램 효과가 다르게 나타났다. 유형별 분석 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, ‘진로 정보 부족’ 유형은 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로탐색행동의 모든 하위 요인에서 유의미한 향상을 보였다. 둘째, ‘하고 싶은 것이 너무 많은 경우’ 유형은 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로탐색행동 전반에서 유의미한 변화가 없었다. 마지막으로, ‘흥미와 적성의 불일치’ 유형은 진로결정 자기효능감에 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났고, 진로 탐색 행동 중 직업에 대한 탐색 행동만 유의미하게 증가하였다. 이러한 결과는 진로탐색학점제가 신입생의 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로탐색행동을 향상하는 데 효과적이며, 특히 학생들의 진로 고민 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 개입의 필요성을 시사한다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점을 논의하고, 향후 진로탐색학점제의 효과성을 높이기 위한 개입 방안 및 후속 연구의 필요성을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to empirically examine the effects of F University's Career Exploration Semester program on freshmen's Career decision self-efficacy and Career exploration behavior, and to analyze how its effects differ according to career concern types. To this end, a quasi-experimental study using a single-group pretest-posttest design was conducted on 304 freshmen who participated in F University's Career Exploration Semester, measuring Career decision self-efficacy and Career exploration behavior using online surveys before and after the program. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0. The results showed that following participation in the Career Exploration Semester, freshmen's Career decision self-efficacy and Career exploration behavior both significantly improved statistically, with significant pre-post mean increases in all sub-factors. Analysis by career concern type revealed differing effects: the 'Lack of career information' type showed significant improvement in all sub-factors of both Career decision self-efficacy and Career exploration behavior. In contrast, the 'Too many things to do' type showed no significant changes in overall Career decision self-efficacy or Career exploration behavior. The 'Mismatch of interests and aptitudes' type showed no significant changes in Career decision self-efficacy, but demonstrated a significant increase only in the exploration of occupation sub-factor of Career exploration behavior. These results suggest that the Career Exploration Semester is effective in enhancing freshmen's Career decision self-efficacy and Career exploration behavior and highlight the need for tailored intervention based on career concern types. Implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research and intervention strategies are discussed.
