국문 초록

이 연구는 중국 대학생의 학습동기, 학업 자기효능감 및 학업 성취감 간의 관계를 탐색하고, 특히 학업 자기효능감이 학습동기와 학업 성취감 간에 매개역할을 하는지를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구는 중국의 모 미디어 대학교 학생들을 대상으로 진행되었으며, Tian Lan(2006)의 학습동기 척도, Liang Yusong(2000)의 학업 자기효능감 척도, Wang Yanfei(2011)의 학업 성취감 척도를 활용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 구조방정식 모형(SEM)을 통해 분석하여 변수 간의 경로 관계와 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 학습동기는 학업 성취감에 직접적으로 유의한 정적 영향을 미친다. (2) 학습동기는 학업 자기효능감의 부분 매개를 통해 학업 성취감에 간접적인 영향을 미친다. 이는 학습동기가 강할수록 대학생의 학업 자기효능감이 높아지고, 그 결과 학업 성취감 또한 향상됨을 의미한다. 이러한 결과는 학생의 내재적 학습동기를 자극하고 학업 자기효능감을 향상시키는 것이 학업 성취감을 증진시키는 중요한 심리적 경로임을 시사한다. 따라서 대학 교육은 단순한 지식 전달을 넘어, 목표제시, 성공 경험 창출, 지원적 환경 제공 등을 통해 학생들의 학습 자신감과 내적 동기를 강화함으로써 학업 성취를 효과적으로 높여야 한다. 이 연구는 향후 표본 범위를 확대하고 더 다양한 상황 변인을 포함하여 심층적인 논의를 진행할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore the relationships among learning motivation, academic self-efficacy, and academic achievement among Chinese University students, with a particular focus on testing the mediating role of academic self-efficacy between learning motivation and academic achievement. The study was conducted with students from a media university in China, using the Learning Motivation Scale by Tian Lan (2006), the Academic Self-Efficacy Scale by Liang Yusong (2000), and the Academic Achievement Scale by Wang Yanfei (2011) for the questionnaire survey. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to analyze the data and verify the path relationships and mediating effects among the variables. The findings reveal that: (1) Learning motivation has a significant positive direct impact on academic achievement; (2) Learning motivation also exerts an indirect influence on academic achievement through the partial mediating role of academic self-efficacy. This indicates that the stronger the learning motivation, the higher the academic self-efficacy of college students, and consequently, the higher their academic achievement. The results suggest that stimulating students' intrinsic learning motivation and enhancing their academic self-efficacy are important psychological pathways to improving academic achievement. Higher education should go beyond mere knowledge transmission and focus on enhancing students' learning confidence and intrinsic motivation through goal setting, creating successful experiences, and providing supportive environments, thereby effectively improving academic achievement. Future research could expand the sampling scope and incorporate more situational variables for in-depth exploration.
