PISA 연구주제 동향분석: 네트워크 텍스트 분석을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국내 학술논문에 나타난 25년간의 PISA 관련 연구주제를 분석하여, 연구 추이 및 키워드 간의 상관관계를 분석하고, 이를 토대로 관련 연구의 발전방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 RISS와 KCI에서 PISA 관련 논문 216편을 선정하고, 이들의 주제어를 대상으로 네트워크 텍스트 분석을 시행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구물의 빈도는 연구 초반인 2001년 이후 2015년까지 꾸준한 증가와 이후 기복적 지속을 보이고 있었다. 둘째, 게재 학술지 분석 결과 교육평가연구, 교육과정평가연구 등 교육평가 관련 학술지에 게재된 연구가 많았다. 셋째, 주요한 키워드들은 분석, 한국, 학생, 비교, 수학, 과학, 성취, 평가로 나타났다. 넷째, 네트워크 텍스트 분석 결과 학업 성취도와 비교분석의 키워드가 중심을 차지하였고, 창의적 사고와 글로벌 역량, 문제해결력 등 최근의 새로운 교육 패러다임을 반영한 키워드는 주변부에 위치하였다. 이를 토대로 본 연구는 국내 PISA 관련 연구가 성적 중심의 비교 논리에서 벗어나, 평가 결과의 해석과 수용 과정에 내재한 맥락적·문화적 의미를 성찰하는 담론으로 전환되어야 함을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the research trends and thematic evolution of domestic academic publications related to the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) over the past 25 years. Specifically, the study analyzed 216 PISA-related papers retrieved from RISS and KCI databases to identify major research topics, keyword correlations, and potential directions for future inquiry through network text analysis. The findings are as follows. First, the number of PISA-related studies steadily increased from the initial research period in 2001 to 2015, showing subsequent fluctuations thereafter. Second, journal analysis revealed that a substantial proportion of studies were published in educational evaluation–related journals, including ‘Journal of Educational Evaluation’ and ‘The Journal of Curriculum&Evaluation’. Third, the most frequently occurring keywords included analysis, Korea, students, comparison, mathematics, science, achievement, and evaluation. Fourth, the results of the network text analysis indicated that keywords associated with academic achievement and comparative analysis occupied central positions within the network, whereas emerging concepts reflecting recent educational paradigms such as creative thinking, global competency, and problem-solving were located at the periphery. Based on these findings, this study suggests that domestic PISA-related research should evolve from a focus on score-based cross-national comparisons toward more reflective analyses that examine the contextual and cultural interpretations of assessment outcomes across countries.
