대학생의 경험․협력․탐구학습 수준 차이 분석: I대학교 IU-EXCEL 교육모델을 중심으로

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 대학생의 경험․협력․탐구학습 수준을 진단하고, 학습자 특성에 따른 수준 차이를 분석함으로써 향후 학습자 중심 교육 혁신의 방향을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 총 441명의 표본자료를 수집하여 경험․협력․탐구 수준 및 학습자 특성에 따른 차이 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 이러한 과정을 통해 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경험․협력․탐구학습 수준을 진단한 결과, 전체 평균은 4.24점으로 ‘협력, 경험, 탐구’ 순으로 나타나 대학생들이 협력에 강점을 보이는 반면, 경험과 탐구는 상대적으로 비슷한 수준임을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 학습자 특성에 따른 진단 결과를 분석한 결과, 전공계열 및 성별에 따라서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없었으나 학년별 분석에서는 모든 영역에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 결론: 이상의 연구 결과에 따라 학습자 중심 교육을 위한 교육혁신 전략을 중심으로 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aimed to assess the levels of experiential, collaborative, and enquiry-based learning among university students, and to analyze differences according to learner characteristics in order to propose directions for learner-centered educational innovation. Methods: Data were collected from 441 students. Their levels of experiential, collaborative, and enquiry-based learning were measured, and differences were examined by learner characteristics. Results: The overall mean score was 4.24, and the students’ learning levels were ranked as collaboration, experience, and enquiry. This indicates that students showed the greatest strength in collaboration, while experience and enquiry were at relatively similar levels. Furthermore, no statistically significant differences were found by major or gender, whereas significant differences were observed across all domains by academic year. Conclusion: Based on these results, the study discusses strategies for educational innovation to advance learner-centered education.
