유아교사의 놀이성과 놀이교수효능감의 관계에서 셀프리더십의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 유아교사의 놀이성과 셀프리더십 및 놀이교수효능감 간의 관계를 탐색하고, 놀이성이 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향에서 셀프리더십의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 D시 소재의 유치원과 어린이집 교사 220명을 대상으로 놀이성, 셀프리더십, 그리고 놀이교수효능감에 대한 설문조사를 수행한 뒤, 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 우선, 유아교사의 놀이성과 셀프리더십, 놀이교수효능감 간의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson 적률상관관계 분석을 실시하였으며, 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그리고 매개효과의 구체적인 통계적 의도를 밝히기 위해 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 첫째, 놀이성, 셀프리더십, 그리고 놀이교수 효능감의 총합과 각각의 하위요인 간에 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 놀이성이 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향에서 셀프리더십이 부분매개하는 효과를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 유아교사의 놀이성에 셀프리더십이 매개되었을 경우 놀이교수효능감이 더욱 높아진다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 놀이교수효능감을 증진시키기 위해서는 교사의 긍정적인 놀이성 뿐만 아니라 셀프리더십도 함께 고려되어야 한다는 점을 시사한다.

영문 초록

In this study, we explored the relationship between playfulness, self-leadership, and play teaching efficacy of early childhood teachers, and we wanted to determine the mediating effects of self-leadership in the influence of playfulness on the effectiveness of play teaching efficacy. For this end, a survey was conducted on playfulness, self-leadership, and play teaching efficacy among 220 teachers at kindergartens and daycare centers located in D city, First, a Pearson moment correlation analysis was conducted to find out the correlation between the early childhood teachers’ playfulness, self-leadership, and play teaching efficacy, and multiple regression analysis was performed to verify the mediating effect. In addition, the Sobel test was conducted to reveal the specific statistical intention of the mediating effect. The main results of this study were as follows: first, there was a significant positive correlation between the overall playfulness, self-leadership, and play teaching efficacy and each of their sub-factors. Second, it was found that self-leadership had a partial mediating effect in the effect of early childhood teachers’ playfulness on play teaching efficacy. Through this, it was confirmed that when self-leadership was mediated in playfulness, play teaching efficacy was further increased. These finding suggests that not only positive playfulness of teachers but also self-leadership should be considered to enhance play teaching efficacy.
