국문 초록

본 논문은 ‘일대일로’ 연선에 위치한 53개국의 데이터를 선정하여 중국의 해외 직접 투자(FDI)와 수출입 무역 관계에 대한 일대일로 이니셔티브의 효과를 검증하였다. 중국의 일대일로 이니셔티브는 미·중 패권 경쟁에서 우위를 확보하기 위해 2013년 시진핑 주석이 수립한 대외 전략이다. 이는 중국 중심의 거대한 경제 네트워크를 구축하려는 동기로 시작되었으며, 더 나아가 위안을 기축통화로 삼아 달러 패권에 도전하려는 목표를 가지고 있다. 따라서 일대일로 이니셔티브의 효과성을 연구하는 것은 중요한 과제이다. 이러한 배경을 바탕으로 일대일로 이니셔티브가 중국의 해외 직접 투자와 수출입에 어떻게 효과적으로 영향을 미치는지를 검증한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 해외 직접 투자는 중국의 수출입 무역을 촉진하는 경향이 있다. 둘째, 일대일로 이니셔티브는 중국의 해외 직접 투자와 수출입 무역 간의 관계를 강화하는 역할을 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This paper selects the data of 53 countries along the “Belt and Ｒoad”, verifies the effect of BRI on China’s foreign direct investment and import and export trade relations. China’s BRI is a foreign strategy formulated by President Xi Jinping in 2013 to ensure an advantage in the US-China hegemony competition. It started as a motivation to build a huge economic network centered on China through the Belt and Road Initiative and further challenge the hegemony of the dollar with the yuan as the key currency. It is important to study the effectiveness of the Belt and Road Initiative. Based on this background, the results of verifying how the Belt and Road Initiative effectively affect China’s FDI and imports and exports are as follows. First, FDI tends to promote China’s import and export trade. Second, the Belt and Road Initiative can promote the relationship between China’s FDI and import-export trade.
