장애대학생의 주체성 규명 및 척도 개발 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애대학생의 주체성을 규명하고 이를 측정하는 척도를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 척도 개발을 위해 국내외 기존 문헌 및 주체성 관련 연구들을 고찰하여 장애대학생의 주체성 개념을 정의하고, 이를 바탕으로 주요 구성요인을 도출하였다. 문헌 분석과 장애대학생의 면담 자료를 바탕으로 기초 예비문항을 구성하였으며, 2차에 걸친 내용 타당도 검토를 통해 문항의 이해도, 적합성, 요인 분류 타당성 등을 검토한 결과, 총 58개의 예비문항이 선정되었다. 이후 장애대학생 305명을 대상으로 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관분석, 신뢰도 분석 과정을 통해 5개 요인, 29개 문항을 최종 척도로 도출하였다. 본 연구는 장애대학생의 주체성을 다차원적으로 구조화하고 이를 실증적으로 측정할 수 있는 도구를 제시했다는 점에서 연구의 의의를 지닌다. 개발된 척도는 장애대학생의 자기이해 및 자립 역량을 진단하고, 상담 및 교육 현장에서의 개별화된 지원 방안을 설계하는 데 활용 가능성이 높다. 특히, 주체성 함양을 통해 장애대학생이 자신의 삶에 대해 주도적으로 선택하고 결정할 수 있는 기반을 마련하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 본 척도가 향후 다양한 맥락에서 활용되고, 지속적으로 검증‧확장되기를 바란다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to develop and validate a scale to assess agency among university students with disabilities. Based on a review of theoretical and empirical literature, as well as student interviews, preliminary items were generated and refined through expert validation. Data were collected from 305 university students with disabilities, and exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses identified a five-factor structure consisting of 29 items. The finalized scale reflects a multidimensional understanding of agency, encompassing motivational, emotional, and relational components. It can be used in educational and counseling settings to support students’ self-understanding, independence, and individualized intervention planning. Given the current lack of validated tools in this area—particularly those tailored to university students with disabilities—this scale addresses a meaningful gap in both research and practice. Future studies may expand its application across different disability types, regional contexts, and developmental stages to further examine its generalizability and practical utility.
