국문 초록

본 연구는 급속한 기술⋅사회 변화 속에서 대학 글쓰기 교육이 학습자의 자기 이해와 성찰을 어떻게촉진할 수 있는지 탐색한다. 이를 위해 문학과 음악을 매개로 한 ‘자서전 한 페이지 쓰기’ 모델을제안하고, 공감과 거리두기의 원리를 핵심 작동 원리로 설정하였다. 수업은 ‘현재 자아 인식 → 타인의이야기와 마주하기 → 자서전 한 페이지 쓰기’의 흐름을 따른다. 실제 수업 결과, 학습자들의 자기이해의 양상은 ① ‘자기 틀’로부터의 거리두기, ② 다중 자아의 인식과 수용, ③ 실패⋅상실의 재해석, ④ 외부 텍스트를 통한 자아 반성의 네 범주로 유형화되었다. 학생들은 문학 및 음악과의 상호작용을통해 과거의 자아를 현재의 자아가 해석적으로 조망하여 자기 이해를 도모하였다. 본 연구는 공감과거리두기의 원리를 적용하여 문학과 음악이 자기 이해의 매개로 작용함을 밝히고, ‘자서전 한 페이지쓰기’가 학습자의 자기 이해를 효과적으로 이끄는 글쓰기 수업임을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study explores how university writing education can foster students’ self-understanding and reflection amid rapid technological and social change. To this end, it proposes the “One-Page Autobiography Writing” model, which employs literature and music as mediating texts and adopts empathy and distancing as its core principles. The class progresses through three stages: recognizing the present self, encountering others’ stories, and writing a one-page autobiography. The results revealed four types of self-understanding among students: (1) distancing from fixed self-frames, (2) recognizing and embracing multiple selves, (3) reinterpreting failure and loss, and (4) reflecting on the self through external texts. Through interaction with literature and music, students reinterpreted their past selves from the perspective of the present self, thereby deepening their self-understanding. This study demonstrates that applying the principles of empathy and distancing allows literature and music to serve as effective mediators for self-understanding, confirming that “One-Page Autobiography Writing” functions as an effective pedagogical approach for fostering self-reflective writing in higher education.
