남성 스토킹 가해자에 대한 변증법적 행동치료 기반 집단상담 프로그램의 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 스토킹 치료 프로그램 수강명령을 받은 남성 스토킹 가해자에게 변증법적 행동치료 기반 집단상담 프로그램을 적용하고 그 효과를 검증하기 위하여 수행된 실험연구이다. 연구 참여자는 총 80명으로 시험집단과 통제집단에 40명씩 무작위로 배정하였다. 시험집단에는 스토킹 법규 교육과 처치 프로그램을 실시하고, 통제집단에는 스토킹 법규 교육을 실시하였다. 실험 종료 후 통제집단에도 동일한 처치 프로그램을 실시하였다. 시험집단과 통제집단의 동질성 검증을 위해 독립표본 t-검정을 시행하였고, 사전검사와 사후검사의 차이값에 대해 대응표본 t-검정을 시행하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 시험집단에서 대인관계 문제의 정도가 유의하게 낮아졌고, 둘째, 시험집단에서 정서 인식 명확성의 정도가 유의하게 높아졌으며, 셋째, 분노 표출은 시험집단과 통제집단 모두에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 본 연구는 변증법적 행동치료를 스토킹 가해자 집단에 적용하여 재범 방지를 위한 경험적 자료를 제시하였다는 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This experimental study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a dialectical behavior therapy based group counseling program for male stalking offenders who were mandated to attend a stalking treatment program. A total of 80 participants were randomly assigned to the experimental group or the control group. The experimental group received the legal education on stalking and the DBT-based group counseling program, while the control group received only the legal education. After the completion of the program, the same DBT-based group counseling program was also provided to the control group. To verify the homogeneity between the groups, independent samples t-tests were conducted. Paired samples t-tests were used to analyze pre-test and post-test differences. The results showed that: i) interpersonal problems statistically decreased in the experimental group; ii) clarity of emotional recognition statistically increased in the experimental group; and iii) there were no statistically significant changes in anger expression-out in either group. This study provides empirical evidence supporting the application of DBT-based group counseling program for stalking offenders, with implications for preventing recidivism.
