유치원 관리자에게 요구되는 디지털 리더십: 유치원 관리자 초점집단면담을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 유치원 관리자에게 요구되는 디지털 리더십 내용을 알아보는 것 을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 공·사립 유치원 원장 및 원감 6명을 목적표집하여, 근무 기관의 유형에 따라 두 그룹으로 나누어 각각 1회씩 초점집단면담을 수행하였다. 디지털 리더십을 도출하기 위해 수집한 면담 자료를 관리자 개인, 관리자와 구성원 간의 관계, 그리고 조직의 세 수준에서 종합적으로 분석하였다, 분석 결과, 유치원 관리자가 인식하고 있는 디지털 리더십은 디지털 시대의 변화에 대한 개방성, 디지털 기기와 콘텐츠 이해 및 활용, 교사 동기 부여, 교사 디지털 전문성 개발 지원, 디지털 관련 기관의 교육 방향성 수립 및 공유, 디지털 환경 조성, 가정 및 지역사회와 연계로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 유아교육기관 관리자의 디지털 리더십 함양에 관한 실천적 함의를 도출하고 효과적인 방안을 모색하는 데 도움이 될 기초자료를 제공한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore the digital leadership required of kindergarten administrators. To this end, total six kindergarten principals and vice principals of public and private kindergartens were purposefully selected. These kindergarten administrators were divided into two groups based on the type of kindergarten, and one focus group interview was conducted with each group. The focus group interview data were analyzed at the following three different dimensions: the administrator as an individual, the relationship between the administrator and members, and the organization. The findings revealed that kindergarten administrators perceived digital leadership, as openness to changes in the digital era, understanding and utilizing digital devices and content, motivating early childhood teachers, supporting early childhood teachers' development of digital competencies, setting and sharing digital technology related-educational vision, creating a digital environment for education, and collaborating with children’s families and local communities. The findings of this study provide foundation for exploring practical implications and identifying effective strategies to develop digital leadership of early childhood education administrators.
