국문 초록

인사는 타인과의 긍정적인 상호작용의 하나로써 의사소통의 시작과 끝을 알리며, 자연스럽게 습득되는 사회적 행동이다. 그러나 대부분의 자폐아동들은 언어적, 비언어적 문제와 화용론의 결함으로 촉진이나 지시 없이 자발적으로 인사를 하지 못한다. 본 연구는 비디오 자기모델링 중재를 통해 3명의 자폐아동에게 자발적 인사하기 기술을 지도하였다. 비디오 자기모델링 중재는 목표행동을 독립적이고 성공적으로 수행하는 자신의 모습을 관찰함으로써 행동의 변화를 이끌어 내는 방법으로 자폐아동의 의사소통 기술 습득에 성공적인 중재로 사용되어져 왔다. 본 연구결과에서도 3명의 자폐아동들은 이 중재 방법을 통해 성인, 또래와 자발적으로 인사를 하는데 필요한 언어적, 비언어적 기술을 습득하여 자발적으로 인사를 할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 비디오 자기모델링이 자폐아동의 자발적 인사하기 기술 습득에 효과적인 중재방법임을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to improve greeting skills of autistic children through the video self-modeling intervention. For this study, three autistic children were selected. They have used only restricted language and made an unmeaning sound with strange intonation and pronunciation. The three autistic children watched the videotapes that show the reaction of greeting, attempts of greeting, smiling, waving hands and bowing. Multiple baseline design and ±2 standard deviation band method were used to verify effects of video self-modeling. This experiment consists of baseline, intervention, maintenance and generalization. The results of this study are as follows;First, video self-modeling had a good effect on improvement of the voluntary attempts of greeting skills for the three autistic children. Second, video self-modeling have a good effect on improvement of the voluntary reactions of greeting skills for the three autistic children. Consequently, this study demonstrates that in order to teach voluntary greeting skills to autistic children, the video self-modeling can be used as a considerably effective method and autistic children can learn verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
