초등학교 통합학급교사와 예비교사의 통합교육 준비도와 교수적 통합 실태 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 통합교육의 활성화로 인해 장애학생의 68.3%가 일반학교에 통합되어 있는 현시점에 통합교육을 담당하고 있는 통합학급교사의 준비도와 장애학생을 위한 교수적 통합 실태를 분석하여 통합교육의 전문성 제고와 질적 변화를 파악하고자 수행하였다. 이를 위해 초등학교 통합학급교사를 대상으로 2000년부터 2010년까지 초등교원양성과정과 현직교육에서의 통합교육 준비도에 관한 논문과 초등학교 통합학급의 교수적 통합 실태를 연구한 국내 학위논문 4편과 학술지 논문 6편 총 10편을 분석대상 논문으로 선정하여 고찰하였다. 연구 결과는 40여년에 걸친 통합교육의 엄청난 양적 팽창으로 장애학생의 교육이 상당부분 일반교사의 책무가 되었음에도 불구하고 통합교육을 위한 교원양성과정이나 현직교육의 준비도는 양적, 질적으로 매우 미흡하였으며, 교수적 통합의 필요성을 주창한지도 20여 년이 되어가고 있으나 통합교사들은 교수적 통합에 대해 아직 인지하지 못하고 있었으며, 통합교육현장은 물리적 통합이나 일부 사회적 통합 상태에 머물러 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 통합교육에 대비한 교원양성교육과정의 보완과 현직교육 및 장애학생이 교과학습에 의미 있게 참여하는 교수적 통합을 위한 실제적인 방안을 마련하는데 기초자료를 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore qualitative improvement of inclusion by analyzing on status of instructional inclusion and readiness for implementing inclusion of students with disabilities of inclusive classroom teachers in elementary schools and pre-service teachers. This study examined 10 articles that published from 2000 to 2010 in Korea. The results of this study were as follow;First, Although some responsibilities of education for students with disabilities were shifted general education teachers, as a lot of students with disabilities were included into inclusive classroom of elementary schools, pre-service education of teachers' training course and in-service education for inclusive classroom teachers were not sufficient to implement inclusion. Second, Researchers of inclusion were emphasizing the need of instructional inclusion for students with disabilities of inclusive classroom teachers since the 1990s. However, inclusive classroom teachers were not understand instructional inclusion and status of inclusion stayed on physical integration or social integration. The results of this study will provide a basis data on modification of pre-service education of teachers' training course and in-service education for inclusive classroom teachers and implement of instructional inclusion of students with disabilities which supports their meaningful involvement into classroom academic activities.
