국문 초록

이 연구에서는 전라남도 장애인종합복지관에서 조기교육 서비스에 참가하고 있는 지체장애 학생 3명을 대상으로 마인드 맵을 이용한 이야기나누기가 이들의 쓰기능력에 어떠한 효과를 가져 오는 가를 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 마인드 맵 활동을 이용한 이야기 나누기는 지체장애학생의 쓰기에 있어 단문과 복문의 수가 증가하여 문장구성에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 마인드 맵을 이용한 이야기나누기는 대상자의 문장길이의 증진에도 긍정적인 효과를 가져왔다. 이상의 결과들을 통해 마인드 맵을 이용한 이야기 나누기를 하는 동안 주제 개념 정리 및 경험, 생각, 느낌 나누기 등의 언어적 상호작용은 뇌성마비 학생의 쓰기 능력에서 긍정적인 효과를 가져왔다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 국어교과 지도 시 마인드맵을 이용한 쓰기지도를 지속적으로 실시한다면 지체장애 학생의 쓰기능력에서 많은 향상을 가져올 것이라 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study explored the effects of story sharing by using the mind map on writing ability of students with physical disabilities. For this purpose, this study applied the multiple baseline targeting for 3 middle school students with physical disabilities who attend the early education program of a community welfare center for disabled people in Jeollanam-do. The results of study were as follows. First, sharing stories by using the mind map had a positive effect on the construction of sentences in writing of physically challenged students. As the numbers of simple sentences and complex sentences of participants in the writing were increased, the scores of construction of sentences were increased. Second, the story sharing by using the mind map had a positive effect on the length of sentences of students with physical disabilities. We could expect that summary of themes, sharing experiences and feeling through language interaction during activities of mind map brought positive effects on writing abilities for students with middle school students with physical disabilities. If the writing instruction by using mind map during language arts class was taught consistently, it would bring much improvement on writing skills for students with physical disabilities.
