뷰카(Vuca)시대 전문대학생 진로코칭 프로그램의 개발과 효과성 연구: 진로의 카오스(Chaos) 이론을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 카오스 이론을 기반으로 한 진로코칭 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과성을 검증하는 데 있다. 본 연구를 위해 서울 소재 전문대학생 총 18명을 모집하여 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 8명으로 배정하고 실험집단에 주 1회 90분씩 6회기 그룹코칭을 실시하였다. 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하기 위하여 카오스 진로코칭 프로그램이 각 변인에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지 실험집단과 통제집단의 사전과 사후에 자기효능감, 강점자기효능감, 진로우연, 주도성, 진로신화 검사를 실시하여 효과성을 분석하였다. 효과성 분석을 위하여 먼저 두 집단의 동질성을 확인하였고, 사전과 사후 시점, 실험집단과 통제집단 간 상호작용효과를 검증하기 위해 혼한변량분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 카오스 진로코칭 프로그램은 실험집단에서 자기효능감, 진로우연, 주도성이 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과는 변화하는 진로와 직업의 세계에서 전문대학생들의 진로 역량 향상에 기여함과 동시에 기존의 매칭적, 선형적 진로 교육과 진로 프로그램의 패러다임에서 카오스 이론을 진로에 적용할 수 있는 새로운 대안의 가능성을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 향후 연구에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop a career coaching program based on chaos theory and to verify its effectiveness. For this study, 18 college students in Seoul were recruited and assigned to an experimental group of 10 and a control group of 8. The experimental group received six 90-minute group coaching sessions once a week. To verify the program's effectiveness, the experimental and control groups were administered pre and post-test self-efficacy, strengths self-efficacy, career happenstance, proactive personality, and career myths tests to determine the impact of the chaos career coaching program on each variable. To analyze the effectiveness, the two groups were first tested for homogeneity. Mixed analysis of variance was then conducted to examine the interaction effects between the pre and post-tests and between the experimental and control groups. The results showed that the chaos career coaching program had a statistically significant effect on self-efficacy, career happenstance and proactive personality in the experimental group. The above research results suggested the possibility of a new alternative to applying chaos theory to career in the existing paradigm of matching and linear career education and career programs while contributing to the improvement of career competencies of college students in the changing world of careers and occupations. Finally, the significance and limitations of this study, as well as future research, are discussed.
